Incredible strings

These are by far the best strings I've ever owned. They are really bright straight out of the pack like advertised and took a while to get used to.
The increased string tension compared to previous strings has been a pleasant surprise. They are quite rough the first few weeks but smoothed out over time.
I really recommend these for anyone who loves really bright strings and some increased tension.

I have flats on a P bass and wanted a stark contrast so bought these for my J bass.
I really like D'Addario strings and these are no exception. They are a very bright string, similar to Flex Steels but not quite as harsh sounding in my view. They really suit a Jazz bass if you want that unmistakable nasal honk of a Jazz, back off the treble and they are surprisingly mellow as well.

Je joue du métal, dans plusieurs formations et donc donne dans différents styles de métal, du heavy ancien au gros puissant moderne.Dans la formation Heay Métal, je joue sur une Cort GB 94 que j'ai équipée de cordes D'Addatio Prosteels EPS 160. De toutes les cordes que j'ai jouées depuis que je pratique_une vingtaines d'années, je n'ai jamais eu un aussi beau son, plein, clair et puissant, avec un rendu parfait de la tonalité et de l'attaque, au médiator comme aux doigts.
Le fameux "piano sound" dont on parle dans le laïus promo est réèllement présent, dans le sens où, si la basse ne sonne pour autant pas comme un piano, elle possède une tonalité métallique pleine d'harmoniques rendant le son encore plus clair et défini. J'ai enfin trouvé mon son. Ce qui n'est pas rien.

Habe jahrelang Warrick Saiten gespielt.
Welch eine Zeit und Geldverschwendung.
Hatte mir diesen Saitensatz mal aus purer Neugier bestellt und was soll ich
sagen...? Es hat mich aus den Socken geschossen !
Mein Bass ( Yamaha Attitude ) klingt wie er es noch nie getan hat.
Hab dann meine " Test Lieder " die ich immer spiele um den Sound neuer Saiten zu testen gespielt. ( " I was made for loving you " / Kiss und " Regret " / New Order )
Wow !
Die Saiten sind super magnetisch so das die Pick ups richtig was zu tun bekommen. Der Klang ist herrlich.
Die Bässe haben den richtigen " Wumms " und die Höhen klingen gut durch
ohne zu "kreischen".
Zugegeben die G Saite hat am Anfang etwas geschnarrt aber kurz die Bridge in der Höhe nachjustiert und alles war perfekt. Die Saiten bieten ein sehr gutes Fingergefühl aber auch mit dem Plek ist alles im grünen Bereich.
Über die Lebensdauer kann ich noch nichts sagen. Hab sie erst vor 2 Tagen aufgezogen.
Ansonsten: Optimales Preis / Leistungsverhältnis
Bei diesen Saiten werde ich erstmal bleiben.

Nachtrag: Der Langzeittest ist abgeschlossen.
Hatte diese Saiten jetzt tatsächlich stolze 6 Jahre auf meinem Yamaha Bass !
Okay, mag extrem sein, aber sie klangen trotz der langen Zeit immer noch gut, bei etwa 3 Stunden Spielzeit pro Woche. Aber jetzt durften sie in den Wohlverdienten Rock 'n Roll Ruhestand 🤘‍
Habe mittlerweile alle meine Bässe mit D'Addario Saiten bestückt.
