Daddario EPS510

Got these for the HB Custom Line Manhattan Jazz Guitar. Nice and bright, and stay bright sounding. They have a less tarnished appearance and cleaner feel than nickel. Was concerned they may sound a bit harsh, but they're fine! Longer lasting and more comfortable than nickel once I got used to them. Thoroughly recommended!

OM
Always go for the Daddario
Old Murray 29.11.2018
I've used many string brands over the years, on every type of guitar, be it electric, e-hollowbody or acoustic, and Daddario always beats the competition. I'm sure there are other brands that I haven't tried, but for a mainstream company, they are pillars in guitar string manufacturing. Prestine tone, tailored to each one's taste in different gauges and wounds. Sure, other might come up with a gimmick or two, but at the end of the day, you want reliability and uncomprimising security in tone, feel and doing justice to your axe and skills. I usually go for heavier gauges but needed 10s for a more twangy feel on a telecaster. The EPS510 are excelent strings, bright and present! The feel for a .10 is really smooth and not sharp at all on the finger as I would expect, as I recall in my earlier years. Packaging is always top notch and helpful. Enviromentally conscious (as can be), neat and simple. Superb.

Very good quality price

The first thing to say is that the materials are very good quality almost same as Ernie Ball by my experience, not too slick and not too rough. The feeling with this set is fine and have an overall quality and durability feeling.
Raccomended if you are using standard tuning.
The sound is clear and with a good punch indeed which is something I pretend from a good string set. It is not the best sounding set I have played but it is fine.
Never had a problem with breakage till now and it is a good reason for staying with this set.
A very important feature by Daddario is the anti-corrosion bag: other and most expensive brands don't have this simple but for me very important feature. You can keep them for more than one year without the chance to find rusted strings once you need them.
I suggest to buy them in big stock for a long lasting storage.

A highly recommend that you try these strings on a guitar with EMG 81/85 pups.
The cleans are extraordinarily bright and clear, which is great for many songs. The dirtier stuff is literally screaming.

It's not an allround string and it's not for blues and darker stuff, but you can get great sounds from it...
