Good string, but it keeps stretching
Weird setup warning: It was used as an extra high G string on a 7-string guitar.
Cons: With every bend, it kept stretching. Very hard to bend up more than a semitone.
Pros: It did not break!
This will probably not happen on a 6-string guitar in standard tuning. :)
All things considered, this is a great string.

PL008 Single String
Just replacement string for Fender Yngwie Malmsteen set. Satisfied with both, the sound of 008 doesn't stick out of the crowd.

Great option for custom sets
Pretty much, it's all in a title. If you want a custom Daddario set for specific tunings or if you have tension preferences that are not met by standard sets, this is a way to go, especially using the most helpful tension chart on Daddario website.

My favourite 008 strings.
I use these strings to give the high G on my 12 string Epiphone Guitar. They sound great and being individually packed means that they are always in great condition when the packet is opened. Great price at Thomann too.

An alright string for an alright prize.
I bought a couple of these for my 12 string western guitar, since it's always this string that breaks.
The prize is fine for the quality which is ok.
The sound is not too thin, but could be thicker.

A single string does make a difference
I bought these 0,08 spares for my two 12-string guitars (high G-string).
They don't break easily, but you never know.... D'Addario has never let me down, except for an occasional broken string. I had a set of strings of another brand, put these on, broke the 0,08. Replaced it with one from yet another brand, which let me down too. I replaced it with a 0,09 which is still holding.
I will replace the whole set in the near future with D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 0,10-0,47, and probably will NOT break the 0,08 ever again.

D'addario = Quality more can you say.
I use these 8s to replace 9s or 10s
Try 8s to replace your 9s or 10s you'll love them
the reduced tension makes barring and bending easier
D'addario = Quality what more can you say.

Quality string
I usually go for Daddario NYXL strings, but I needed to buy individual strings to set up a guitar in "New Standard Tuning". My first stop was Daddario and I am very happy.
