You can get so many cheap practice mutes these days, but as they say, “you get what you pay for!’ Many make the instrument unplayable! The Denis Wick practice mute works brilliantly, and you can see how the time and effort was made to make this engineered to work very well indeed. In summary, spend that bit extra as it will be worth it for the quality of sound, as well of course to do loads of practice!

Die Denis Wick Dämpfer sind ja schon seit jeher bekannt für ihr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Mich persönlich überzeugte der Übedämpfer für Bassposaune am meisten auch gegenüber den teureren Modellen. Er schnarrt nicht und dämmt somit besser, wenn es leise sein soll (Wohnung, Hotel etc...). Die Intonation ist stabil in allen Lagen.
Ansprache und Klang sind natürlich (noch?!) nicht dem Original gleichzusetzen. Aber freier wie bei einigen anderen Modellen (Jo Ral "Produktionsfehler"?!, zugestopft!! da geht garnix...) Wenn es den jetzt noch in Klein gäbe, wäre er absolut top. LG
