New Joint fav picks
Jimey 07.10.2017
I have new favourite picks - joint with my old.

The attack of the ultex is stellar. They sound really good and they have a nice feel to them.

I personally like reasonably heavy picks with a good tip, and the 1.4 sharps deliver just that. They aren't overly sharp like some picks out there, but rather feel like a 'regular' pick shapr has been filed down a little. As they wear they therefore first take the shape of a 'regular pick' before getting excessively blunt.

This brings us to durability: They go and go. Daily use of 2h+ and I am still using my first of the set over a month in. Sure, it is starting to round, but not even my other fav (tortex 1.14) lasts this long!

Grip: THe grip on these is fine. But that's it, just fine. Compared to Tortex I find I am re-adjusting my grip more. Unlike celluloid I don't drop them constantly though.

Will definitely get more of these.

Great picks and cheap too

Great picks overall. The grip is not the best but I don't sweat a lot so it's fine. The gliding effect gives a feel of speed and control

I love the clarity and attack of these picks! Sharp, but not piercing. Also, with the sharp tip, makes it easy to play fast lines with great precision.

Great picks
Hammer2021 27.09.2021
These have been my preferred picks for a long time. They feel nice in the hand, and give a nice contact feel with the strings. No 'pinking' against the string at this thickness. Picks are a subjective thing, but these ones are definitely worth trying in your search for the perfect pick!

I prefer them to Tortex
Paul25 16.03.2015
They certainly feel good and are the usual Dunlop quality. Time will tell if I like them over Tortex but so far, I do. Feel good to hold and offer more accuracy. Just try them.
No reason to think they won't last. At this price I won't be complaining. Thomann's packaging and delivery A1 as always.

My new favourite picks
Anonymous 27.04.2023
One of the best picks I've used as a heavy metal guitarist. The size is optimal for me, the attack is great even when the pick starts to get worn down with use. Speaking of which, these picks have incredible durability compared to some others I've used like White Fangs. The grip is fine, nothing special but not as slippery as I expected it would be. Overall, a great choice for the price and it's hard to find better ones.
