Great bass

Very rugged yet light bass. Got to use for recording demos at home and the intonation and action is spot on. Truss rod key included which is a nice touch. Out of the box it is a very bright sounding bass even with tone dialled down but after changing from the stock strings it sounds lovely.

Als Soundalternative zu meinem Mex-Jazz brauchte ich noch einen Preci mit Flatwound Saiten. Die habe ich dann auch auf den neuen Preci aufgezogen. Die weiße Lackierung ist halt Geschmackssache. Mit der mass-bridge, einem schwarzen Pickguard und schwarzen Fender-Potiknöpfen (von einem alten Amp) ist der Preci nun personalisiert.

Die Bespielbarkeit ist hervorragend, eine Kopflastigkeit konnte ich nicht feststellen. Der Hals ist ein Traum, sehr angenehm in der Hand, genügend flach für schnelle Riffs.

Der Sound ist überzeugend, genau was ich wollte (mototown). Der PU ist für meine Belange völlig ausreichen, der Tonepoti macht was er soll. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Sound.

Die Verarbeitung des Mex-Preci ist top! Die Lackierung sauber, der Hals sehr gut verarbeitet. Ich persönlich gehen dann bei jeder neuen Klampfe nochmal mit einem Nagelfeilset (formen/glätten/polieren) aus dem einschlägigen Beauty-Laden über die Halskanten, ist aber eher eine Marotte von mir.

Ziel erreicht: Top-Sound für die motown-Stücke...!

Ein super P-Bass!
Beinah perfekt eingestellt kam der Preci bei mir an.
Keine Verarbeitungsmängel, tolles Griffbrett (Pau-Ferro) und leicht bespielbar.
Der Pickup könnte mMn etwas stärker im Output sein und er klingt doch recht nach "vintage". Muss man mögen.
Für Punk/Alternative wird man damit eher nicht so glücklich, geht aber auch...
Insgesamt absolute Kaufempfehlung!
