Great idea, room for improvement
Somuchviolingear 20.02.2024
The first one I received, I had to send back because the strap on the bottom was not attached properly, and this strap basically carries all of the weight of the violin case.

The second one was better, but also here the safety strap (that goes around the handle for extra safety) is not properly attached.

It is impossible to position the fastenings properly because they're not in the right place; either one goes over the handle or one continually scrapes the lock on the case, and either the violin is placed really high or really low, in some positions resting on the fastening if stood upright. It would be better if the bottom strap were fixed, and the right lenght for the case. It would be more secure that way. There are too many adjustable straps that can come loose and that's not great.

The material of the backpack is very solid and sturdy, but it doesn't have a lot of space. It is quite comfortable to wear on your back though.

A
Pretty good, almost perfect
Anonymous 08.12.2016
I bought this for my 12 year old son. He studies in a music schooll and often needs to carry a backpack plus a violin case. He tells me this is a much more confortable option than carrying the violin case on the side. For his other school stuff the backpack room is just enough, and I am afraid for the busiest days a bit too small. I still don't know how resistant the build is, but it looks good. The only obvious downside up until now is that the weight is too far from your back when the bag is full of books. A cleverer design would have been to leave a big pocket between the violin case and the carriers back and not the other way around.

T
Good but not great
Tom.K. 08.12.2023
Well if you need that you have wrong case in the first place. Looks like a good idea but It is not practical as you have to open all twice and close twice as this will close your case. Better to go with case that have music sheet pocket. Most plastic cases are not practical at all as you dont have music sheet pocket at least in them so this looks like good idea but its not practical at the end.

ETUI SOLIDE ET LEGER
Eric134 16.06.2017
