Pure sound

I had this installed in my Lowden equipped with Fishman Natural one piezo pickup. For big gigs I use the blend of all three, which gives a great, full sound. I spent a while playing with mic position and the preamp setting the gain and EQ knobs inside. Excellent option since all guitars would react differently to the settings.
Often I use just one signal. I run a mono cable and use the passive pure mini together with l.r. baggs session DI, which gives a great combination. I forget what a battery is and never worry whether it's full enough. The sound guys were amazed how natural the guitar sounds.
100% of recommendation for this system.

TS
Almost perfect
Tamas Szoke - the unplugged acoustic guitar 24.12.2023
I saw this set in Beppe Gambetta's guitar. He uses with the Quantum blender, but majority of the controls are in here too - even it's not to easy to reach. But that's the price of the portability.

The transducer is the best you can get. No feedback, good sound. That's a solid 5star product - honestly, if you playing plugged, this part is enough to have.

Mic: I use rarely, it has way lower output than the transducer, so fiddling a bit with the gain control is crucial. Blending to the transducer, even slightly, it gives body to the tone. The problem is: it's microphone, so you'll get feedback issues.

Preamp:
CONS
- Would be good to have a notch filter (see Fishman ProBlend) for the mic.
- In case of slapping the strings at the bridge, it clips out the system - that i did not experienced from the Radial PZ-Pre.
PROS
+ portability. Small, well engineered, stable.
+ easy to use - if you're familiar with trimmer pots. :)
+ no battery in the guitar!

Cable: change it please immediately. Very cheap, and not fit perfectly to the guitar plug. Get a good L-shaped stereo plug for the guitar side.

Superb!

One of the very best acoustic pickups I’ve ever used. The ability to tweak, using the internal pots, allows you to dial in the sweet spot while the ability to blend the clear signal from the transducers with microphone allows you to get a wide variety of dynamics. It’s relatively easy to fit yourself too

I've tried many, may, many different products but this is simply the best, most natural and smooth sounding piezo/mic system for acoustic guitar! A light years ahead from any normal piezo/mic systems! If You hate grainy and plastic piezo sound of your guitar through PA - this is definitely something for You :)

Amazing sound

This is an amazing sounding system. Simple installation process. One lack - there are no EQ and Gain controls outside the box - no chance to change settings while perfomance. But any way, it's very good system. Highly recommend!

Decent System
Anonymous 06.11.2016
A highly rated pickup system that is based around a Pure Mini. Overall, a good sound through the Pure Mini, and the Microphone adds a nice tone change, most apparently in the top end. I tend to run about 70%/30% SBT/Mic. However, the system in general is very prone to feedback. A soundhole feedback-buster is almost essential to get UST volumes on stage. Used in a D18 Martin.

p
great sound on a martin om28
pacordes 19.06.2018
My great Martin OM28, is my beloved go to acoustic
I was looking for a system which didn't change the acoustic sound of the instrumented, and that could give me a good picture of its sound amplified. This didn't disappointed
the preamp has a very strong influence in my opinion. I find it's not very prone to feedback.
It's Great!! other guitarists gave me thumbs up on my live sound. Not cheap but for a great instrument, it's worth it!

Best one if u want a final pickup
Mark greenberg 24.04.2023
It's sooooo good you can't believe how easy It is to install it and get it to sound good. even for recording. But the glue that comes with it is very very strong so be careful if you don't want to involve a luthier.
