Not a Top End K&M Stand
I have a number of top end mic stands including Beyerdynamic GST500, K&M 21020 and 25950.
I had assumed this K&M 25900 would be of equal quality, however it is actually a bit of an anomaly.
It is quite easy to assume this stand is a small version of the top end 21020 and 21090, but this is not the case. Apart from the boom arm being from the top line range, the lower part definitely is not.
1. The leg tubing is thinner and lighter.
2. The rubber feet are the smaller ones found on the cheap stands.
3. The base is lighter and lower mass.
For this reason I feel I was somewhat mislead as the price matches 21020 and 25950, but it is just not to their standards.
I will probably eventually replace these with K&M 25950 or Beyerdynamic GST590 and sell them on as the low mass and lower quality components are not really "pro" and seem out of place. I am anal like this. Seems this stand is mis-categorised.
Also, anyone wanting this for micing kick drums internally should buy the K&M 25950 instead. This 25900 is too tall for that application.
All in all though, this is still a good stand. It is just let down by having the budget components mixed with the top line components.

Can't beat K&M
Real quality mini boom, I bought two, it's just amazing quality kit for the money. I rate K&M very highly, they build products that last.

amazing !
very firm, well build.
I use it to record my ethnic instruments, this thing surely can twist and turn at all angles in needed it, and always stay stable.

good quality utility stand.
There are better stands available but these are great for the price in a studio or on live gigs.

Sometimes heavier mics will make this move out of place. Still a good stand.

Not bad at all!
For the price it's a great stand. After some years of use it starts failing a bit, but if you need a quick fix to hold a mic it's great.

excellent stand
There isn't much to say beyond that which others have mentioned. This stand is exceptional quality and feels like it will last for many, many years. The weight is relatively low for the rigidity and feel it offers, and I would recommend this to anyone!

Sturdy and tidy
I bought these because my cheap stands were flimsy. Not only are these way more sturdy and you're not afraid to put an expensive mic on it, but the telescopic boom arm makes everything tidier.

easy to use snare mic stand.
I bought this mic stand as a mic stand for my snare drum.
It really feels solid and the base is also a bit heavy making it more stable.
I use it with a Se electronics Se8 mic which I have mounted on a t.bone SSM Microphone Shock Mount.
You cant go wrong with any K&M product!

User Friendly
Very simple use, able to mount any mic and get superb stability, balance. Not too many things to tighten up and put together. Also good design in terms of portability. Overall, this has been one of the best stands I have used. Usage as per its description is dual +.
