Great budget tambourine
Jimmyrockali 12.01.2018
This is a great tambourine. Has a very nice tone, that easily cuts through a full drumsets sound and sits in the mix very nicely without sounding harsh or thin. The mounting screw could be better, as it has come loose a couple of times. Not very comfortable to use for hand held playing, but then again it's not really meant for that. Quality wise there is nothing bad I can say about it.

Pros:
-great sound
-great build quality

Cons:
-mounting screw has to be REALLY tightened to stay in place

Cheap and Cheerful

I'm using this on a home drum kit and also at live acoustic sessions. Sounds good and is of sturdy construction. I bought this model because of the capability of securing it to the drum kit which also works very well. By far the cheapest quality Tambourine I have seen around and I would definatly recommend it.

Good value for money!

Yes, it has a good value for money!
Not a isntrumento with the best quality, both at the level of sound as material, but it depends what you want to do with it, or you want to remove it!
For me it was more than enough! It adapts easily to the tripe dish and has an acceptable sound for the price you get! It has been playing a lot and is in excellent quality!

Perfect!
Nikolaos F. 23.08.2016
I bought for the recording of a specific song and now I enjoy the sound so much I use almost everywhere. It is a good solid tambourine that does the job and sounds fantastic! It also has a nice grip and I sometimes use it with my leg while playing guitar for tempo.

Good Within the Price Range
Anonymous 22.11.2016
I've been using it on my drumkit for practicing purposes. It doesn't bring the best clean sound on the market but if you're not looking to anything special it is great for rehearsals and a minor expansion of your drum set.
It is also suitable for DIY recordings. However within a proper record it just doesn't cut through the mix enough if your cymbals are loud without a separate mic right next to it.

Its biggest drawback is the fixing mechanism - it could be done a bit tighter since after some more usage the bolt just get released causing the tambourine to move round slightly after each hit.

I bought this tambourine just for the fun of if, but ended up really surprised.
It sounds good, and seems to be able to handle some serious beating.
The fact that you can remove the rack mount to use it by hand is pretty cool.

Fits perfectly!

It does what it says and it does it good.

The sound is nice, fits perfectly on a high hat and it's a great addition for any drumkit. I would recommend these any time.

Given that the price is pretty good, I wouldn't hesitate to get one and neither should you!

Great tambourine which has stood the test of time.
Anonymous 27.04.2015
I bought this back in 2008 and forgot to review it until now. This tambourine really has stood the test of time. It's now 2015 and this still goes everywhere with me in my drum hardware bag. No problems at all with it.

The tone is Good and the build quality is fine. It must be as it's still going strong.

The attachment is good and goes on to my Hi Hat top bar just fine. I just attach it for a song that I need tambourine in and then take it off after that song. It goes on and off without a problem.

I've used this live for gigs and the over head microphone on the kit picks it up well. I've also used this in the studio close mic'd and the tone is great on recordings.

I particularly don't like the sound of it; it's too clunky. I bought because it was a cheap option, but I think that if you can afford something else, go for that other option. In case you're wondering, it is very uncomfortable when used as a hand tambourine.

What can I say other than it does what it's supposed to do very well. It has a good load rattle and the clamp is a breeze to use!
