Warm sounds but a bit quiet

I installed this on my Ibanez to accompany the JB/Jazz set I have on it (H S H). It does sound fantastic however I have to bring it right up to get the sound up to par which gets in the way of my picking and shredding. Other than that - top quality.

Mittiger PU für etwas mehr Gain

Ich habe den JB Jr. in eine Powerstrat mit Floydrose eingebaut. Ich spiele im allgemeinen Low Gain bis medium in einer Coverband von Gregor Meyle über Westerhagen bis Metallica. Für die "mehr Gas" Geschichten brauchte ich einen Hals-PU, der nicht zu hell und dünn ist. Ich hatte einen Dimarzio Cruiser und den JB Jr. bestellt und wollte den weniger passenden in die Mittelposition einbauen, weil ich die sehr selten verwende. Der JB macht eine so hervorragende Figur am Hals, daß ich den Cruiser dort gar nicht probiert habe. Etwas dunkler, sehr mittig und mit nicht zuviel Bass klingt das ganze sehr gut bei Mittel- bis Highgain. Bei reinen Cleansounds könnte er etwas mehr Höhen vertragen - aber dafür habe ich andere Werkzeuge. Schiebt, drückt und macht Stimmung ;)

Perfecta para inyectar ganancia en tu strato o super strato.

Adquirí este modelo para montarlo en una Ibanez S series con la configuración HSS, situada en la posición de mástil en combinación con una DiMarzio evolution en el puente.

La pastilla ofrece un sonido muy similar a su hermana mayor humbucker completa, sonido cremoso y acampanado, con cuerpo, perfecto para limpios y leads delicados con un buen overdrive, las distorsiones extremas, en cambio, no son su fuerte. La pastilla realmente respeta las cualidades sonoras de la madera, en mi caso, caoba con tapa de arce atigrado. Tambien dá buen resultado en la posición central de una Ibanez rg1570, con limpios casi acústicos muy interesantes en posiciones de coil, dejando tambien un mejor balance de volúmenes entre pastillas.

Buena pastilla, si deseas mantener las particularidades del tono de tu guitarra con coils, pero te gustaria una inyección de ganancia y cuerpo en la posición de mástil, a por ella.
