Very versatile pickup

This pickup was very surprising.

I used it in middle position, with JB and SH, but sound this pickup produces is so good, I'm starting to use it more and more on its own.

I own Fender starts with alnico magnets, but after putting this pup in mahogany body Ibanez s470, I was very positively suppressed, and result is awesome.
No hum, and although labeled as vintage output, I've found it very good match for JB and SH.

Recommended for sure.

great warm sound comparing with SLK 5. I installed on american amber body, playing thru Koch Studiotone XL. Great combination for jazz/blues sound. Overdrive makes it really hot and very pleasant.

Single coil's tone, but hum-free

Great pickup, as every Duncan. This one has the single coil's properties, clarity and brightness, but not its flaws, weak output and buzz.
Works equally well in the neck position or in the middle (even if, for a standard SSS configuraton, I'd recommend the reversed polarity option for the middle pickup).
