Ich habe mir die UA400B (Lambda-1/4) für mein PSM900 zugelegt, weil mir die mitgelieferte (Lambda-1/2) Antenne zu groß war.

Ich nutze das PSM900 in einem Floor-Board-Case auf dem Boden vor mir. Die Antenne habe ich dabei mit einem ca. 50cm Coax-Kabel (50 Ohm) vom Gerät abgesetzt. Eine Lamba-1/2 Antenne würde sehr weit vom Boden nach oben ragen, daher habe ich die wesentlich kürzere UA400B (Lambda-1/4) ausprobiert.

Normalerweise heißt es, man darf/soll Lambda-1/4 Antennen nicht vom PSM900 absetzen. Ich habe es dennoch getan und es funktioniert prima bei mir. Ich habe aber auch auf Anraten eines befreundeten HF-Spezialisten die UA400B auf eine (leitfähige) Rackblende montiert, welche als "Lambda-1/4-Spiegel" zur UA400B wirken soll.
