Maybe a little pricey but quality!
I've been using cheaper Optic Cables to connect my interface with ADAT preamps. I've had no serious issues but they broke easily. Either the connector or either the cable. After I experienced it during a recording session and had to find a sweetspot to make it work I decided I'd buy more quality ones.
These were the ones I choose and didn't regret! It just became a "Set once and forget" thing now and don't have to worry about it.
It also fits nice and tight into the sockets.
If you'll use ADAT cable in a fix setup where you plugging in the ADAT cables and forget about their existance then I'd recommend you to get cheaper ones because they don't have difference in audio quality - but if you connecting-disconnecting it a lot I can't recommend enough getting these ones because they'll last a lot longer if you're on the move to locations with your gears.

I use in the studio. The best optical cable I have had! he is very flexible! I'm not afraid to bend it ...)))) buy it, you will not be disappointed !!!

horrible product
the plugs are so reluctant they broke the toslink-cover on my apogee ensemble after around 3 plug ins/outs. huge repair hussle now to get that fixed. ... the jacket on the plug tip also constantly removes itself and has to be put back on on.
thought it would be a nicer cable than the mutecs where the cables are really stubborn but I guess to make a solid cable nowadays is really an issue I see too much.
all in all terrible product. don't recommend at all

Sticker on connector came off
I bought this as a more robust ADAT link between two RME interfaces - on the whole it seems well built, but annoyingly after first use the Sommer label came off one of the connectors and although it sort of went back on it keeps leaving sticky residue on me when I unplug. Luckily it's for semi-permanent install.

Optic quality
You need in you're studio or in live application for connecting you're adat mixer,preamp or other on digital level this is the best choice. Hicon TOSLINK connectors and robust cable ensures quality and durability.

Beware: this cable changed recently (2017)
The cable I received from Thomann is not the one illustrated on their website. Instead of a Sommer cable "ambience series", they sent an "ergonomic series". You can check the difference on Sommer's website.
Although this new cable was sold at the same price, it doesn't have the same mechanical quality, nor the same Hicon connectors.
After complaining, Thomann said they will change the picture, but didn't write about lowering the price?

Best Optical Cable!
This is the best optical cable that I've ever used. I use it to connect a focusrite octopre to a yamaha 01v96i in my home studio and when I'm on the road. Never had a problem. It's really tough and can stand the road, not like many "standard" optical cables that breaks if you twist them in the wrong way.

Good quality cable.
The Toslink from Sommer is a good example of what I look for in a digital cable.
It's sturdy, yet able to bend enough to fit in most setups. The quality feels very good and the connection feels very secure once in. I don't really like using Toslink cables to be honest, but as they go. This is a nice one.

It's an optical cable, rugged, and solid. No lamentations possible on this.

High quality Toslink cable
High quality Toslink cable, definitiely road worthy, but bevare, due to it's thickness it is quite heavy for a cable, so it have some pull on the Toslink socket.
All in all great cable, which looks and feels like it will survive anything.
