Great value, complete "ready to bow" kit
I have never owned a double bass before, having played one at school a long time ago...
This particular bass comes very complete - not only with its own bag but also bow and resin.
Setup is trival; slaken the strings, position the bridge and tighten them again and tune.
Like many people, I was hesitant to buy online however:
- Finding a shop that has even one bass on display is hard;
- Concerns about shipment are probably exaggerated: whatever instrument you buy, shipment will be involved at some stage.
For a non-professional player this is a very good compromise: if you want "more", e.g. solid body, made in Europe(?) then you'll have to pay significantly more. If you pay less, you might wish you hadn't!
