I have my chorus on 3/4 of the time.
I presume that this is the most popular chorus because it has such a versatile sound library. Now that I've got really familiar with the controls (knobs, switches, toneprints, manual adjustments etc.) I can say that although it offers a stuning and appealing palette of modulation it lacks characteristics of it and of choruses that only have one specific sound. But for the sake of allroundness or just learning what kind of chorus floats your boat this is the pedal to choose - especialy if you are like me and you would like your guitar to sound a bit different with each song.
I am using it like a slow flanger on the chorus mode and I like medium speed tri-chorus for always-on situations. I use the Boss CE toneprint everything set around 12 with high freq. bosted on my EQ compressor for them funkier stufs.
So it kind of works for me despite the lack of 'personality'.

Toneprint via beaming isn't working nor is it apropriate while listening to delicate sound changes of the effect. On that note, I feel like sound creation with knobs is a bit too much of a guessing work - I wish they wouldn't change ratios with toneprints and default modes.

This is my second device (the first one had ishues with power connection) - Thomann quickly salved my problem replacing the unit with a new one (sending was done in a week). Othervise build quality is perfect: it's got a weight to it, knobs and switches all work in a satisfactory order, color is a-very-nice and it's a stereo pedal.

Lovely versatile pedal
Roland2273 05.10.2017
My first tc pedal with toneprint. Based on this pedal I also bought the reverb and the delay. Toneprint is a great innovation. Pedal is reliable, versatile and it sounds great. Oh yeah, it it is also affordable. No brainer

Always on

If you are a guitarist in a trio formation this pedal is a must!
I usually leave it on around 25% wet and just keep it on constantly.
All three sounds work perfectly for this purpose.

The pedal is great, also have great features. Sound is relative. Probably not my piece of cake. But can be me!

Better than Afterglow

I also have TC Electronic Afterglow Chorus which is more than twice cheaper. But this pedal is a much better chorus in terms of design, controls, sound. Worth paying for.

This Is The Chorus Pedal I've Been Looking For...
DaveAGT 07.06.2013
Having tried lots of different makes over the last 30 years - Arion, Boss, Line6, MXR etc this one beats them all. It sings like a choir!

There are 3 modes - Chorus, Tri-Chorus and Tone Print.
The 'Chorus' or normal mode is great and probably better than most of the chorus pedals out there. The 'Tri-Chorus' is fantastic, instant 80's Rock chorusy jangle if you want it or it can do warm and lush layering. It used to take a rack unit to get this kind of sound! The 'Tone Print' mode customises or tweaks the pedal to give signature sounds of great players. You download the Tone Print into the pedal via USB. I tried the Dann Huff Tri-Chorus sound and was amazed.

The controls are easily understood, the Tone control is especially handy when you need it to be subtle.
Now that TC have finally released the Tone Print Editor App you can customise the Corona Chorus to your spec to essentially create your own unique chorus pedal.
Lastly - it's clean, very quiet and tough. It's a keeper.

Its ok.
Dapapa 08.08.2020
I think my old Digitech RP255 had a far better Chorus than this Corona. However this one is also ok but for the more subtle chorusing as the more radical settings take away some clarity. Im sure all this can be tweaked in the editor but Im more of a "knobs guy". I very much dislike editors.

As Im only to use this for basic subtle chorus Im not sure its the right pedal for me. The cheaper TC BBD chorus would be a better choice for me and is ...cheaper :)
