Must have for wooden instruments
A very easy to use compact device with a nice design that blends perfectly into your interiors. Very light as well. There are no complex menu options. Just a simple display with temperature and humidity measurements. If you are below or over normal humidity/temperature levels, the little smiley face on the display gets your attention. You can also check the MIN and MAX temp/humidity levels for the last 24 hours, so you always know whats going on inside your room.
The hygrometer is completely flat so you can hang it on a wall, as well as keep it on a flat surface, there is a small leg to support it. I like that you can read the measurements from few meters away, since the numbers are really big and clear. I bought it specificaly for my double bass, so I keep it close to the instrument.
The only downside is a plastic shell, so you need to be carefull if you want to use it as a portable device. Overal an affordable must-have for everyone who plays wooden instruments.

Could be improved.
Before I didn't pay attention but temperature and humidity levels in the place you live are not to be neglected(and not only because of the guitars), especially now when some of us are 90% of the time there. Because of this product I also bought humidifier to keep normal levels in my flat and this actually improved the tuning stability on my cheap Les Paul copy. This TFA Digital Thermo-Hygrometer worked like a charm for whole two years until the battery was empty, I was surprised considering it's price. But when I tried to open the battery compartment it was very stiff. After 10 mins of unsuccessful attempts, I just brute-forced it but something broke there. After that I wasn't able to put a new battery there.
Shortly, it's a good and accurate product but the battery compartment needs to be fixed.
Although I think £8.60 for two years of well working product it's fair.

Cheap, Accurate, and beautiful
I keep this Thermo-Hygrometer in my instruments room, I had compared with other exepensive hygrometers, and this one is very accurate.
The design is absolutly beautiful, it made me remember the iphone 5, with the down side of being made out of plasic.
The numbers are big and easy to read, I can see them easealy across the room, which is great.
One of my favourite parts is that, in the hygrometer part, it shows a smile character when the humidity is in the "perfect range" for the instruments.
The worst side of this device is that it does not have a backlight, which makes it impossibe to see the numbers in the dark.
Overall is a good investment, I Recomend it!

Excellent
Bought this meter for my bass/guitars room so I can check when the humidity hits the roof and when to take precautions. It is really accurate, really simple and just cool! It got BIG numbers on the screen which is one of the most important things for me, so I won't have to tape it to my nose every time I have to check the air status in the room. I found no cons at all! It is really good, it's cheap and it's effective - as I was hoping it to be! Fulfilled all of my expectations and I'm really happy with it. Recommending it to every body!

Guitar and piano saver
Such a meter is vital for those who wish to keep their guitars, pianos or other instruments in a good condition. The TFA meter gives a clear indication of the atmospheric humidity and allows you to take measures when the level drops below a critical point (ca. 40%). It works straight out of the box, the battery is included. Couldn't be easier. I've already ordered a second one.

Stopped working after about 6 months
Used for making sure that home studio humidity was at an optimum.
Despite changing battery, it did not improve operation. Disposed of, as there was no point in sending it back.

nice design-usefull memory function
I would like to monitor humidity in my room and this is a basic, but very good product.
It really looks beautiful with a minimal design. It has a nice function that stores in memory, daily max and min humidity. This is really handy, as I can monitor humidity during sleep. Screen numbers are large enough, so you can place it anywhere in the room and easily and can easily keep track of humidity.
This is my first Hygrometer so I can?t tell anything about humidity accuracy, but I compared temperature values with two mercury thermometers and seems to be accurate.
Recommended.

I learned I have low humidity at home when I bought this. I didn't even expect it to be so low. Now I bought a humidifier.

What i needed
After having a small incident with an acoustic guitar due to dryness, I got this hygrometer. The screen is nice and big and I can read from across the room. Cannot commend on accuracy but it confirmed my suspicions of low humidity, which was what i needed to confirm. I am pleased with my purchase

Great little hygrometer
This hygrometer displays the temperature and the relative humidity on a big, easy-to-read display. It's very slim and has a back leg for a tilt as well as an indentation if you want to hang it up on a screw on the wall.
It's a simple but accurate instrument and has very basic programmability - you can set your low and high values and the display shows a smiley / frown face when those values are reached.
Very useful for monitoring RH in any room, and a no-brainer at this price.
