Decent MIDI cable for the price - some small drawbacks
For the price, this is an outstanding MIDI cable. I've been unable to find a comparable cable around the same price point.
That said, this cable is better suited for studio or home use than for frequent performance or gigging. I have found over the years that these cables eventually fail when used in dynamic environments, with people stepping on them during performances and frequently being plugged/unplugged/rolled/unrolled.
When using them at home or in a studio, where they largely remain untouched, I think they are more than satisfactory.
Also, when they go bad there is essentially no way to repair them. The MIDI plugs at either end are fully encased in hard plastic and cannot be disassembled, repaired and reassembled.
Get a slightly more expensive MIDI cable with Neutrik or other high-quality connectors, and you will be able to repair or maintain them yourself as needed when they malfunction.
All in all, this is a very good MIDI cable that will work reliably for quite a long time. If you're frequently plugging/unplugging or rolling/unrolling it though, it will eventually fail. It might take a year or two, but it will eventually fail. Not as robust as more expensive alternatives, but well worth it given the low price.

Midi Cable
Good quality cable, well built and has no issues.
All I can say is, it does what it is made for.
I have it in my home studio so it doesn't get kicked around and not on the road.

Great cable prime quality - sturdy construction and good materials, never had problems with these cables. Good transmission rates too, sssnake is the same as more expensive cables but for an accessible price which is good if you need as many MIDI cables as I do in the studio and need to change them often or when you lose and you need to replace some :-)
