Just incredible...
At first, I was really skeptical when I ordered it. I mean, it is an empty cardboard box that you should be able to sit on without getting injured, and it should produce nice sounds too...it doesn't sound so promising, right? Well, it's all true.
It really sounds like a musical instrument, and most importantly, it is very durable. I weight 96kg and it can hold me without any problems at all. I have a friend who is a bit bigger than me(120+ kg) and he was playing it for about two months almost every day...it is still as good as new.
For this price, you can just get it for playing around, or you could even use it as a reallly weird looking chair hahah. Definitely a good buy... :D

Interesting one time experiment
Ordered this out of interest. The sound would need some tweaking. I guess it is alright for practice. And maybe one could tweak it with a mic somehow. Overall, the sound does of course not compare to a wooden Cajon. But that was never to be expected. Surprised at how sturdy the cardboard is! Have taken it apart and reassembled several times, still intact. The corners got damaged quite fast, so careful with these. It a great experiment. Below average toy instrument. :)

Love this.
I was stunned with how sturdy this cajon is. When you hear cardboard you assume flimsy and lightweight but this is solid as a rock. I'm not exactly a featherweight and I don't have any reservations at all about sitting on this.
The sound quality is excellent and totally usable in a practice/live setting and the best thing is you can fold it up and store it away when not in use.

Yes, sound from cardboard!
I mean.. yes, cardboard giving sound. If you expect sound as a wooden cajon buy a wooden. Set that aside, I really encourage if you looking to have something for jamming and chilling - specially with kids around.
My kids loved it and I still can use for jamming with friends at home.
Amazingly easy to assemble and turn it back to original package if you need to carry around.
Yes, it can handle heavy weight people over it - even people with more than 110 kg.
Delivery quality, product quality for a low price. Go for it.

It works!
It is a cardboard cajon and please don't expect it produces a fantastic and clear typical cajon sound.
Apart from the sound quality, it is light and playable which is quite useful for carrying and recommend for busking or street performance.
It is quite big when I tried to unpack and fold all the stuff but it still saves lots of space for storage in limited space.

Amazing for the price! Perfect for trying out cajon with minimal risk.
It's easy to set up, holds a surprising amount of weight, and delivers a pleasing variety of tones. There's even a pre-installed snare for those really percussive tones.
I deducted a couple of points for sound, because it sounds the way you'd _expect_ a sub-€20 cajon made of cardboard to sound.
If you're thinking of trying cajon, or just want to have one on hand without investing in something professional-grade, it's great! The only reason I wouldn't recommend it as a cheap way to entertain children, is that you really want another house to put them in while they play - it's *loud*!
As a bonus, our cats are perpetually intrigued by this box with a hole that they can't quite climb into. Well, they are when nobody's playing it, anyway...

Simply ingenious!
I'm a pro musician, and this inexpensive cardboard instrument serves me far beyond it's main purpose as a light, easy transportable cajon. I use it as a bass drum with a cajon bass drum pedal and miked from the back the sound is incredible. I even use it sometimes for professional recordings of unplugged gigs. A real, punchy, kick sound on the acoustic guitar volume level. Not to mention it's lightness and transportability.. Way to go, Thomann!

Cajon
I bought this as a present for a friend and he seems very happy with it.
Despite being made of cardboard the construction is actually pretty sturdy thanks to the bracing inside and it will take a fair bit of sitting on and slapping, I imagine.
Also, it will probably last a bit longer if you pack it flat again when not in use.
I can't really say too much about the sound as neither I nor my friend are cajon players but it sounds like cajon, for sure.
For the price I don't think you can go wrong if you are experimenting with different instruments or just starting out.
A nice stocking filler and great fun to play.

A bit of genius!
So handy when we are short of space and need a drum! Our little boy has appeared on stage with us playing it and it sounds pretty good! I'm sure purists would struggle with it but if you consider you can just fold it up and store it easily, it makes a lot of sense!

A basic cajon
Ideal for a gift! I bought this because I wanted to jam along with my friends while using an instrument that was cheap and wouldn't mind carrying around. Well, two years later, it still goes strong and plays like the first day. That said, it does not sound great and you would not record with it, but for the price, it is a piece of equipment that you will not regret buying or gifting!
