I will try to be fair...
I will try to be as fair as humanly possible here: even with apparenlty identical features, the quality here is not comparable to my other rack cases (mainly old SKB, some Gators and plastic Anvils that had been in my rig for ages) BUT, again in full fairness, those cost more than double the price. At this price point, this rack is unbeatable.
Stability and perception of quality is also affected as the case becomes larger. I had the chance to check the smaller Thomann 2U and the impression, obviously, was better. Mine is one of the largest (6U) so stability and structure suffers from thinner materials (again in comparison with cases costing much much more). I guess that if heavy travelling is not on your immediate schedule, this case is perfect. If you are about to kick off your world tour next week, you might consider a more challenging investment.
Having all that said, I am again grateful that Thomann is offering a cheaper alternative for all of us stucked in our home studios. So far, did get the job done flawlessly.

Love it!
Overall the unit seems lighter than other similar 6U racks I tried.
Seemes deeper than other 6U racks, remaining dimensions are similar. Internally theres enough space for cable management and for tucking cables on the sides and on top of the 1stU and beneath the last U.
One of the cover lids comes with zip pouch which I find great!
The butterfly latches are very tight (Some other reviews complain about these but mine are very sturdy).
Came bundled with 22 black rack screws and rings.
Has rack rails on both front and back, however only on one of the sides both rackrails have some screw holes with different sizes, not sure if this is intentional.
The handles seem very sturdy, as other reviews mention they are not very confortable however they seem on par confort-wise with other similar 6U racks.
Has a single UP sticker on one of the sides, could use come additional UP/DOWN/FRONT/BACK stickers.
Overall a great unit for an unbeatable price.

Very solid rack case
I bought this for home and live use of some recording devices in a 19" form factor. I have mostly used it indoors and have not had the need to carry it around very much, but it has already proved to be very useful and also very easy to work with. The construction is sturdy and installation of new units is very easy. There is also enough place in the back for a rack light and I really like the fact that one of the doors has a pouch with a zipper. The only downside is that the case material maybe could have been a little bit stronger and as well as the quality of the butterfly lids. However, I have not had any problems with either of these features.

Nice and light but not all good..
Purchased this case to replace a tired old plywood and aluminium rack which had seen a LOT of use.
I liked the fact that you could mount devices to the front and back of the case. I fitted a shelf in the rear for some non-standard devices and a connector plate with speakons and USB for convenient access to the amps and digital audio ports
However I did not think the case would take much abuse on the road. The plastic is somewhat brittle and worst of all, the front and rear covers are secured with cheap butterfly catches. These are very loose and the covers have a tendency to fall off in transit - not good!
I guess I will keep it for now but will find an alternative the next time round..

Has few important flaws
Overall it's kind of ok but has few details to be careful with:
- The lids don't feel secure with the latches they have. They don't keep well pressed and secured against the rack.
- Handle bars are very thin which gets really uncomfortable to use for carrying the rack even for a short distance of 10 meters.
- Overall plastic seems pretty fragile/cheap.
- The rail holes are not evenly distributed, at least my case, I couldn't fit of my pieces of gear due to that. I had to have a work around to avoid losing time as I needed it to move will all my equipment for some gigs.

Not modular
Thomann has a number of these rack cases in several sizes.
All of them are stackable, but unfortunately only with the same size.
A shallow radio receiver rack can't be stacked on top of a deeper video switcher/recorder rack. The aluminum frames seem not to like shipping and one needs a little force to unbend them for the first assembly. I found that in the edges it is often necessary to cut or grind away parts of the rackmount ears to fit the edges of the rack case. You get what you pay for, I guess.
The problem with the stackability is not a function of price, though. The designer just stopped thinking too early.

Gets the job done
For the price, you cannot go wrong. Holds everything I need very well. However, this is not a HD road case. I wouldn't stack multiple heavy weight items on top of it. But for the weekend warrior, it provides high value.

Great Rack at a Great Price
Those of you looking for a rack that you can take on world tours for the next ten years, kick down flights of stairs, throw in the ocean and generally treat really really badly but still function should probably look elsewhere.
However, the rest of us who want a good quality rack at a great price - you've come to the right place!
These cases are not the strongest or toughest, but they're not meant to be. They're mean to be 'good enough' and they absolutely are. I have no issue putting my expensive kit in one of these and it getting treated in a reasonable fashion. I won't be rolling it end-over-end down a hillside and expecting the contents to be in pristine condition. It's not armoured nor fitted with shock absorbers. Some cases are and therefore cost hundreds of pounds (literally). This is a good quality ABS case that will last for years ... providing you are sensible ;-)

Keep your gear safe
I bought this to house some of my studio gear for when I need a mobile rack to go to clients or other places other then my studio. It is strong and robust and keeps your expensive gear totally protected. the hinges are strong and gives you good access on the front and back. The case is also so strong that you can stack a lot of gear on top of it as well. I often chuck other hardware on top of this case and know that I wont have any problems as its tough like rock.

Great for non-professional use
Not the sturdiest case ever made, but you can't beat the price. It's great for my use, I have a Kemper instaled in it so I mainly take it to rehearsals and back once a week. But if I were to gig more often I'd get something stronger.
