Heavy duty, superb quality, flexible positioning

Super pleased with this as it also can be used to mount a Yamaha DTX Multi12 with MAT-1 adaptor. Holds it super solid and the ball joint tightens like a vice so no movement even when drumming on the DTX. I’ve mounted mine into a spare Stagg cymbal base stand but better with Yamaha to ensure all the tube locks are the same size to interconnect. Way cheaper than buying a PS-940S stand all in one as this boom arm is a Hot Deal for sure at this price.

Ich bin mit diesem Tom- Halter überaus zufrieden. Seit etwa zwei Jahren hält er nun meine 12" Stage Custom TomTom an ihrem Platz.

Durch den langen Schaft lässt sich die angehängte Trommel auch höher einstellen, was vor allem bei größeren Kesseln von Vorteil sein kann. Bei mir war der lange Schaft zwar nicht zwingend erforderlich, aber man weiß ja nie, wie sich das Setup nochmal ändert... (Stichwort Flexibilität)

Durch das Kugelgelenk kann man die Neigung der TomTom stufenlos verstellen. Man kann sie sogar umdrehen, um zwecks Stimmung besser an das Resonanzfell zu gelangen, was mir sehr gut gefällt. So hat die Fummelei endlich ein Ende, die sich normalerweise vor allem dann einstellt, wenn man seine Toms, sehr tief über der Bassdrum hängen hat.

Zur Verarbeitung: Für mich tadellos. Scharfe Kanten sucht man völlig vergebens und alles wirkt, als sei es für die Ewigkeit gemacht. Die Feststellschraube greift nach zwei Jahren Benutzung immernoch wie am ersten Tag. Ich bin mir sicher, dass das Stück Hardware mich trotz flüchtigen Aufbauten und nicht gerade sanftem Umgang bei Gigs noch lange begleiten wird.

Hiermit also eine klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits. Wer ein Yamaha- Set besitzt und seines genau so liebt, wie ich das meine, der macht mit diesem Panzer garantiert nichts falsch.
