This is a lovely complex sounding splash. It has a tremendous amount of wash from the wide lathed edge and is bright and cutting. The sound is slightly gritty and grainy. The biggest surprise is that the bell gives its own sound in complete contrast which has quite a ding to it. Very versatile with varying sounds depending upon where you hit it.

Spiele dieses Splash schon seit einigen Jahren und habe mir es bereits zum zweiten mal gekauft nachdem es gerissen ist. Hierz muss ich sagen die Verarbeitung ist Top, wirklich 1A. Kaputt gegangen ist es eher durch die harte Gangart der Musik die ich mache. Trotzdem hat es 4 Jahre geahlten.
Zum Klang es ist relativ laut und hat einen unerwartet lang anhaltende Klang. Wie typisch für ein K-Becken hat es einen "tieferen" erdigen Sound aber ist trotzdem in der Lage durch die Klangkulisse einer Band zu schneiden. In wiefern es zu ruhigeren Musikstilen passt kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich es nur im Rock und Metalcore verwendet habe.

Ich selbst benutze noch ein Oriental Trash Splash und im Gegensatz zu diesem, ist das K-Custom weniger trashy und erzeugt einen offeneren, länger anhaltenden Ton.
