Used this set as resonant skins on a premier artist maple kit paired with Evans G2 on the batter side of the toms. They are quite easily tuned and have a nice ring and tone to them. When tuned correctly with the G2 there is a very nice resonance between the skins. The quality of these skins is excellent, all skins have performed well for the past couple of years and have just now been replaced by exactly the same product. Would recommend the G1s as resonant heads for people who are looking to use lower tom tunings for added depth and power to the standard thickness resonant heads.

ich hatte bisher noch keine "fellsorte", die derart flexibel einzusetzen und zu stimmen ist, wie diese. Die Felle lassen sich sowohl als Schlag- als auch als Resonanzfelle verwenden.

Als Schlagfelle bekommt man diesen obertonreichen, je nach Stimmung obertonreichen Klang. Im Gegensatz zur coated variante (die ich ebenfalls besitzte und benutzte) klingen sie recht definiert und nicht ganz so dunkel.

Als Resonanz Fell klingen sie recht ausgewogen und sind aufgrund ihrer variablität für fast alle musikrichtungen einzusetzten. Der Sustain ist nicht zu lang und sie lassen sich relativ einfach stimmen.

Als einziges Manko muss ich aber leider sagen, dass die Felle bei einem Bekannten, auf dessen pearl export set ich die g1s aufziehen wollte, nicht in die Spannreifen gepasst haben! War mir bis dahin neu, dass Felle auch mal nicht passen können, hab ich auch seitdem von niemandem mehr mitbekommen. Bei mir funktionieren sie auf jedenfall wunderbar.

Apenas llevo dos días con ellos, pero, como no podía ser menos, todo maravilloso. Sonido claro. De la fabricación se nota una muy buena soldadura en las juntas y se puede apreciar, también, buena resistencia. Imagino que no tendré problemas en absoluto. Encantado.
