Great practise-pad. NOTE!! This size can not be mounted directly on a cymbal stand like the 8" can. The reason for this might be the weight. It is not a thing you would like carrying around all day. I therefore recommend the 8" as it is much cheaper and has the mounting option. The 8" also forces you to practise your stick control as it has a much smaller surface.

Im Vergleich zu meinem Mini-Practicepad (Thomann-Hausmarke) ist dieses Pad eher hart. Daher ist es auch beim üben etwas lauter. Wobei "laut" natürlich relativ ist. Üben und dabei den Fernseher laufen haben ist immer noch möglich.
Das Pad ist groß und massiv und lässt sich ideal in einen Snare-Ständer einspannen. Einziges Manko: Wenn man es auspackt, riecht es wirklich extrem. Irgendwie eine unangenehme Mischung aus Plastik- und Gummi-Geruch. Ich habe es ein paar Tage auf den Balkon in den Sonnenschein gestellt. Das hat den Geruch deutlich gemindert. Seit zwei Tagen liegt es nun im Wohnzimmer, und der Geruch ist nicht mehr wahrnehmbar. Nur, wenn man mit der Nase direkt dran riecht. Ein Punkt Abzug bei Verarbeitung für den Geruch. Da könnte sich Meinl vielleicht was einfallen lassen bei der Materialwahl.
