Silent Stroke Mesh Heads are great
I moved into an apartment and wasn't quite sure whether to go with silent stroke mesh heads or an electronic kit.
I've decided to go with the mesh heads and am really satisfied. The heads are maybe a bit bouncier than regular heads but overall the practice experience on these heads is very good.
You do hear the sound of the drums a bit but that's mainly due to the resonant head. If you want even less sound, you could just remove the resonant heads altogether.
Also, be careful because they do wear. Especially the bass drum head has slight indentations where the beater hits the head, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Best practice system so far
I am very pleased with the silentstroke line . In my opinion it's the best option we drummers have until now when we need to practice quietly . The mesh head has a little bit more rebound that a normal drum head but it's not so much of a difference and in my case it helps building up stick control

Very good
Im using it with ddrum hybrid kit and its amazing! the feeling is very realistic. The sound is not totally muted but thats not a bad thing for me

Good Tone And Response
I have my entire kit fitted with these heads as I play in a small church room where volume is an issue. These heads enable you to play out without having to worry about bursting eardrums!
The tone quality is really good and the rebound is great meaning that you get the feel and tone of a normal skin rather than the deadness you get with dampening pads.
The heads are built to take some punishment and, whilst I've only had them for a few weeks, I would imagine they'll survive quite a while. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone for whom volume is an issue.

Will do their job
Relatively tunable (need to fine tune a bit the reso) and mesh looks really durable. Lots of rebound makes you feel like a pro :)

Great solution for practising
I bought Silent stroke heads for all of my drums- snare 2 toms , floor tom and bass.
They really do the work.The feeling is ok, maybe with a little bit higher rebound,but the good thing is that you still have tones and you can practice anytime without worrying about the peace with your neighbours

Remo Quality
These heads work. Low volume, reduced tone but very manageable sound. Typical Remo quality. Fantastic product that allows us drummers to practice and play naturally.
