I see no reason to invest more money in mouthpiece cushions. These ones are very good for the price and do their job perfectly. I have no complaints.

Even though some players says "it's the same" or "it works fine" it is really not the case. I would not want to be without these cushions now. Easy to apply, durable and very comfortable.
