Had my Guitarlele strung to the back of my Bike for several weeks during summer vocation. Even piled a couple of things ontop of it. No string broke. It takes quite a while for the strings to stay in tune. But after that, they do. The strings are still a bit sluggish and not comparable to a full sized instrument, but it works and it's fun. Definitely better than the 2 String set technique, where you lose the high e string of the first set and start putting the remaining strings on the instrument starting from the A string. The low E string is then taken from a high tension set and put on. Works, but Aquila does it better.
