Magma Multi-format battle case

Ich habe das Magma Multi-Format Case gekauft, um meine Rane-Setup (72 + 2x 12) auf dem Weg zu Auftritten bestmöglich zu schützen. Mein Hintergedanke war, direkt alles im Case aufzubauen, sodass ich am Veranstaltungsort nur noch das Case aufklappen muss, Strom, Laptop und XLR Kabel anschließen muss und loslegen kann. Das funktioniert auch wie gedacht, wäre da nicht das wahnsinnige Gesamtgewicht von 50kg und die Größe.

Bei meinen Auftritten habe ich folgendes erlebt:
1. Ich komme mit dem Case nicht wirklich zu meinem DJ Tisch, weil das Case so groß ist. Stufen werden zur Herausforderung. Ohne einen Rollwagen, ein Rollbrett ("Hund"), Sackkarre o.ä. würde ich nicht zum Auftritt fahren.
2. Ich konnte das Case nicht auf den bereitgestellten Tisch ablegen, weil der Tisch für dieses Gewicht nicht zugelassen ist.
3. Ich konnte neben dem Case meinen Laptop nicht aufstellen, weil das Case den gesamten Tisch belegt hat.
4. Ich konnte das Case nicht alleine auf den Tisch heben und brauchte Hilfe.
5. Als ich das Case einem Kollegen ausgeliehen hab, hat der Case und Gear getrennt voneinander transportiert, weil er es nicht alleine heben konnte.

Positiv ist, dass das Case super verarbeitet ist, das Gear passgenau sitzt und nichts wackelt. Auch das mitgelieferte Zubehör (weitere Schaumstoffpads mit Klebestreifen) sorgen für genug Flexibilität.

Das Case ist in meinen Augen nur für mittelgroße, professionelle Verleihfirmen geeignet, die entsprechende Manpower und Transportausrüstung haben. Für den mobilen DJ mit Auftritten in der Bar um die Ecke ist es zu sperrig und zu schwer. Ich würde es für meine Bedürfnisse nicht nochmal kaufen und zu Einzelcases raten - Euer Rücken wird es Euch danken.

Got this to replace a 20 plus year old carpeted Battle style coffin case that had one handle and no wheels!

Already had a magma controller case with laptop slide that I was using for gigs but as the vinyl revival is in full swing my local nightclub just loved seeing me with the 1210's and mixer. Time to treat myself.

Cannot fault this case at all. if you mix battle style and have a 10" mixer this is perfect. Build quality is great and the removable front panel allows access to all the controls at the front and the panel itself can just be put behind one of your turntables. handles at the side and either end so 2 people can carry it, castors are great for one person covering a distance, butterfly latches all round so lid lifts straight up and off. (perfect for a tight spot as there is no need open lid back to remove)

In use you would almost forget its all in a coffin case, space between turntables and mixer is as minimal as possible. Theres a nice little space under the mixer for tucking cables away, as a dvs user, I can actually fit my slimline dell power supply and all the cabling under the mixer,

For you Dj's with small cars, this fits on the back seat of a Suzuki Swift.

Also Included are more foam inserts than you are ever going to need.
