Good alternative to the Neutrik plug if you're on a budget

Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Neutrik connectors I tried these. I've also tried the Amphenol ones, both are good, but I think I prefer these.
They have a lower profile than the amphenols (very similar to neutrik) which in some applications is crucial, plus they seem to plug in/out a bit easier without putting extra strain on the socket, which is a frequent problem with some of the cheaper female plugs I've seen.

The only minor complaint I have about these is that in order for the transparent ring to stay tight and not loose, you need to screw the plug really tight and that takes some effort, but it's not a big deal.

Regarding longevity and durability, I can't really say how well it will withstand the test of time since I haven't used this plug much and I also tend to be very delicate with my cables. It looks quite robust, but in my opinion, if you want assurances, just spend the extra money on a Neutrik which has been tried and tested for many many years, at least for cables that are used a lot. I would be more than happy to use these for cables that have some occasional use, like an adapter.

Cheap but very good

I was surprised with Hicons quality.
I wanted to spare little bit on MALE side of my home-studio cables,
and it was good choice, for sure.
This connectors are fitting good to Neutrik sockets. They are easy to asemble,
one can even use additional a colored rings with them.
Next time will check female Hicons.

Very Good Connector

A very good price-friendly alternative to Neutrik XLR plugs. The plastic strain relief end is a little hard to screw on (same with male and female plugs), however with a little elbow grease can be done. The colour-coding rings are very useful, but must be purchased separately.

I used the neutric xlr alot.
After hearing good about these hicon xlr i gave them a shot.
Easy to solder and i like how they look.
