Zaor Vision O

I recently bought a number of things for a new studio setup and this was part of a larger purchase. I bought it because the reviews were mostly positive and the table seemed ideal as a big open platform.
It is a well weighted table and seems to be solid but the materials, especially the surface are already showing wear after just 2 days? I am hoping, once I have everything set up, that it does not rattle or conduct low frequencies or sound in a bad way. I can mitigate some of that but hopefully the table is designed to be able to be used in the way that I purchased it for.
When the table arrived the whole thing comes in two packages. The surface, which is the heavier part, looked a little bit damaged and when I went to open it the bottom of the package was completely soaked through with water and then taped over which was a little disappointing. There was not that much water damage and so I proceeded to try and assemble the table. To be perfectly honest my two major concerns with this table are; the dimensions are not quite as described: 1595 mm is 63 inches, when in fact the table measures out at 61 inches. I could've used that extra space but I will make do. The biggest issue I have is that the instructions for assembling this thing are total crap. I mean it's insane how bad these directions are. There is literally almost no detail or explanation, or it's very minimal. The key component to how the tables come together is not actually even described in the assembly instructions. There are these set screws that need to be put in place and threaded before you connect sections of the table otherwise it doesn't join correctly and there's no description of that in any of the instructions. Plus the instructions are really visually unhelpful. It should not be that difficult to include good clear instructions for a €550 table. I have it, it's assembled, and I probably would not buy it again but I don't have the time or energy to disassemble it and return it and get another one. In the future I would probably get something 8 to 10 inches wider and much more simple to assemble.

Die Überschrift hat nichts mit den zwei Farben zu tun, in denen das Teil daherkommt - weiß und schwarz. Nun ja, es ist schon ein Design-Objekt und sieht schick aus, allerdings hat man bei der Konstruktion anscheinend den Statiker außen vor gelassen: der Tisch , der alleine schon ca. 60 kg wiegt, muss ja einiges aushalten, schlichtweg "tragen" und da habe ich schon meine ersten Bedenken: zwei Desktop Racks mit je zwei Monitorboxen drauf, ein PC samt Bildschirm, zwei HiFi-Verstärker in den Racks, von denen der eine allein schon 18 kg wiegt und dann noch Mischpult etc. etc. summa summarum über 40 kg! Stoße ich an die Platte, fängt alles vertrauens-erschütternd zum Wackel an. Die zwei konischen schwarzen, schräg nach vorne laufenden Tischbeine sind zwar 24 mm Press-span, die beiden konischen weißen, schräg nach hinten verlaufenden allerdings nur 18 mm, unbegreiflich, denn dies ist für das Design nicht von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung - und da ist m.E. eine gewisse Instabilität vorhanden. Die Füß(chen) sind eben nun mal nicht so wuchtig ausgelegt wie z.B. beim Zaor Miza! Design geht vor, leider...
Die Schrauben und Verbindungen sind zwar sauber ausgeführt und der Zusammenbau geht problemlos, wenn man die etwas dürftigen Bau-Anleitungen mit den Skizzen haargenau ansieht (andernfalls kann man Teile vertauschen, was üble Konsequenzen hat). Die Umleimer entsprechen auch nicht durchgängig dem "Made in Germany"-Strandard und sind - vor allem beim Kabelkanal, den man ja bestücken muss - derartig scharfkantig, dass man sich die Finger aufschneidet. Die Verpackung dagegen war mustergültig und "bombenfest", Lieferungen in derart stabilen Kartons wünscht man sich hier des Öfteren.
Ich arbeite halt an dem Studiotisch recht behutsam und hoffe inständig, dass er durchhält. Übrigens, sollte man ihn mal verrücken müssen, dann geht das nur, indem man vorher allesabbaut und herunternimmt (anders geht es nicht) und dann zu zweit versucht, ihn vorsichtig zu bewegen; auch hier spürt man dann ganz besonders die scharfen Kanten eines 60 kg-Boliden mit den eleganten Beinchen.

Le produit correspond à la description et au besoin, il est massif, solide et parfaitement logeable. Petit bémol pour la notice de montage qui n'est pas parfaitement claire (il faut bien se concentrer).

En revanche je regrette une expérience client catastrophique; produit livré en plusieurs fois (l'entrepôt n'avait à l'origine envoyé qu'un colis sur 2) et gros problèmes de livraison avec UPS (qui ne s'est pas présenté malgré une demande de livraison à un jour fixe) et au final le plateau est écorné sur les 2 angles de face (donc visibles) car le colis a été balloté plusieurs fois par le transporteur. A date, pas de réponse du service client pour régler le problème des angles écornés.
Donc en résumé satisfait du produit mais attention chers amis de Thomann à ne pas le confier à n'importe quel transporteur qui ne respecte pas les produits et attention à bien vouloir répondre à vos clients lorsqu'ils portent une réclamation (je n'avais jusque là jamais été déçu par Thomann).
