BluGuitar Amp1 Iridium Edition

No le saco el potencial que puede dar al usarlo de momento solo en casa, pero eso es lo bueno de este ampli, que suena bien a volúmenes bajos pero cuando lo necesite, ahí estarán los 100 watios. Los controles son muy buenos y sensibles, un pequeño cambio se nota en el sonido, se pueden ajustar muy bien los tonos. La construcción también se ve robusta.
Suena muy bien, dependiendo de tus gustos y si te adaptas a él no te hará falta en numerosas ocasiones ningún pedal, lo enchufas y a dar caña.
Puede grabar 3 preset y reducir la potencia a 50 watios, aunque esto en la realidad no se nota hasta que no subes bastante el volumen y está pensado para proteger pantallas de 50/60 watios.
Me ha sorprendido el sonido con auriculares, todos los amplis que he tenido sonaban entre mal y muy mal pero este salva el tipo escuchándose bastante bien, al menos en comparación con lo que he tenido.
El único pero es que los controles laterales son muy incomodos, muy pequeños para manejarlos y no se ve bien donde apuntan.

It will be undoubtedly a trend in the future. Heavy transformers, etc., there is technology today to eliminate this. BluAmp is almost perfect, but I returned it for two reasons:
1. There is permanent background noise. It is not a loud sound and it is not affected by the volume, but it is annoying if you use it at home or when recording. I have tube amplifiers (Bugera, Orange, BlackStar) and none do that. This noise passes to the recordings regardless of whether the sound is clean or drive. If you use it for rehearsals or with high volumes it can be indifferent (maybe...).
2. There is an error in the design regarding the position of the Noise Gate and the Reberb. If you use the Gate in the Metal position, the reverb is useless, as the high gain noise will appear for a while ruining the effect. With pedals positioned before the Gate and then the reverb, it doesn't.
Corrected that, for me it would be a great amplifier with a highly modern and innovative design.
I hope that the new AmpX from BluAmp does not have these rather amateurish problems.

I'm primarily a bedroom recording hobbyist, but sometimes I play live, so I really like that I can use the Amp1 to practice at home in my DAW or connect to an actual cabinet for live situations (100W!) The all-analogue amp tones are absolutely killer - three sonically distinct dirty channels plus a clean. With built-in gate, reverb, and boost, what else could you ask for? Literally the only thing I found lacking about this amp is the cabinet emulation, which is just that: an emulation using circuitry and filters - not an impulse response of an actual cabinet. I would love it if I were able to load just a single IR that I like and then I'd truly be set. For practice at home, I'll turn the built-in cabinet emulator off, connect the Amp1 to my DAW, and load a cab sim there: Happy days, killer tone. For live if I wanted to go cab-less and connect directly to the house PA, I'd use a Two Notes or something after the Amp1, but that's really all I need. Absolutely love this thing and would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Für mich ist das Teil genau das, was ich schon lange gesucht habe. Als Hobby Gearhead der meist "at home" und nur gelegentlich im Proberaum spielt,(weil die lieben Bandkollegen keine Zeit haben), habe ich schon viele Amps, Multieffekts mit und ohne Fullrange Boxen und als letztes den Black Spirit 200 Floor Amp, durch.
Letzterer ist auch wirklich gut, aber für mich dann doch zu groß und mit zu vielen Features die ich nicht brauche.

Aber nun zum Amp 1 Iridium Edition.
Erstmal finde ich, dass Thomas Blug ein sehr sympathischer Typ ist, der weiß was er macht.
Der Amp 1 besitzt genau das, was ich brauche.
Durch die gut beschrifteten Potis lässt sich der eigene Sound in sekundenschnelle einstellen.
Mitten raus, Bass und Höhen rein, da ist er der Metallica 80er Sound. Mehr Mitten rein fürs Band Gefüge, Reverb dazu fürs Lead spiel, Booster an/aus und zwischen Clean und Distortion Kanal umschalten.
An der linken Seite kann man noch feinjustieren und z.B.das Gate schalten.
Die kleinen Drehknöpfchen an der Seite sind etwas fummelig, aber wenn man seinen Sound eingestellt hat, lässt man die auch in Ruhe.

Auch wenn der Iridium auf Metal ausgelegt ist, so ist z.B.der Clean Kanal auch für viele andere Genres sehr gut zu gebrauchen.
Der Amp 1 kann auch leise sehr sehr gut. Ich spiele zu Hause an einer Harley Benton 2x12, welche da natürlich, ich sag mal "leicht"überdimensioniert ist :).
Aber mit der Masterlautstärke auf 2-3 geht das ziemlich gut.
Man kann den Amp zudem auch im 50 Watt Modus laufen lassen, braucht man aber nicht unbedingt.
Im Proberaum braucht man natürlich andere Einstellungen als zu Hause und da gefällt mir die einfache Bedienung noch mehr. Keine Menüs und rumgescrolle auf LCD Bildschirmen, einfach ein paar Rädchen drehen und gut ist.
Seinen Proberaum Sound dann einfach auf einen der 3 Taster speichern und das nächste mal per Presetmodus abrufen.
Wer mehr Tasten braucht kann einen 2er Fußschalter anschließen oder die Bluguitar Remote.

Ich habe das Teil auch schon zum Üben an einer Bose S1 pro per Kopfhörer/Line Out betrieben...Top.
Da brauche ich keine Yamaha THR's oder sonstige Desktop Übeverstärker mehr. Über Kopfhörer klingt er natürlich auch super und weil er so kompakt ist kann man ich einfach überall mitnehmen.
Durch die 100Watt Nanoröhre bläst der Amp 1 alles vergleichbare weg und klingt einfach Bombe.

Von mir ne klare Kaufempfehlung.

Das einzige was mich ärgert ist, dass ich nicht schon früher auf den Amp 1 gekommen bin und das Thomas Blug nächstes Jahr seinen Amp X rausbringen will...ich hoffe ich kann wiederstehen :)

Aufgemerkt: wer weniger Metal spielt holt sich die Amp 1 Mercury Edition und wer warten will und das wahrscheinlich doppelte ausgeben will holt sich den Amp X.
