Excelentes cuerdas con mucho brillo.

Estas cuerdas son de la gama superior de D'Addario. Como se puede leer son de mejores materiales, más resistentes para tocar sin miedo a que se rompan las cuerdas, más estables en la afinación y más duraderas. Fabricadas en USA.

Estaba buscando unas cuerdas buenas del calibre 11-49 para mi guitarra de caja Gretsch. He visto en otras marcas que venían en el juego la tercera cuerda entorchada, pero yo la quería plana. Ya había usado de D'Addario las EXL115, que son también de 11-49, y quería probar unas cuerdas mejores y encontré las NYXL. En mi opinión son mejores, tienen más brillo, ataque y crunch que las EXL115.

Son unas cuerdas de gran calidad, con un sonido brillante, son resistentes a la rotura y espero que sean duraderas. Muy recomendables.

He probado infinidad de cuerdas y a día de hoy estas son las que mejor me han funcionado en cuanto tono y duración.

the strings replaced my old 10-46 set.
The difference is of course huge, both in sound and in sensations.
I will not talk about which ones are better, because they are different. It is better to tell about your feelings, and there are enough of them.
I'll start with the most obvious and this is that after the first two days of the game, your fingers just fall off. The game has become quite tough, but I think I can overcome it, because the sound that comes out in the end is just Bombay.
In short, if you want to be tougher, put 11 strings. And even on your Telecaster, I chose them with the expectation that I will play in open G. I Think for this system the strings will be perfect.
Cons, they are purely subjective, for me they are not, but perhaps someone these strings will be too thick. Again, this choice should be with a clear understanding of what you want in the end.
I am 100% satisfied with the purchase. The quality is excellent. And the price tag for conducting such experiments is not too high.
Thanks to tomann for the low price, this makes it more affordable.

Finally the quest ends ..... or does it?

I have been trying out a few different brands and gauges for a long time. I know, I know, everyone does but I always went back to Blue Steels because they were perfect for me, alas they did not have a set that I wanted so I had to mix.
These strings from D'addario are nearly the same as those blue steels but with the right set.
Tone is great! The feel when sliding up and down is great! You can put these on and tune them with a Floyd and the next day they only need minor adjustment, no more stretching for weeks and retuning endlessly! Okay, a bit of exaggeration but in a nutshell, they rock!
I haven't come across a negative yet. I've been using them for about four months in rehearsal and on stage, not one broke down -and I (ab)use my Floyd to the limit-.
They stay in tune and keep the feeling of newish strings.
So, is it the end of that quest? Time will tell ....
