JA
Un gran puente
Juan AntonioS 21.08.2013
Es un muy buen puente de guitarra. El palorrosa es de buena calidad y el acabado del metal es muy bueno.

El único defecto que veo es que no venía en un embalaje original o algo parecido, sino en una bolsa de plástico.

A
good product and work fine
Andrew822 12.06.2021
I went full tilt and bought a great roller bridge by ABM for my Peavey Rockingham, that bridge was expensive and a great piece of kit however the low e string kept popping out if I played hard enough, I decided to buy this Gretsch rocking bar to see if it could save my bacon. Well it did cure the problem I described and not only that it even sounds better and Id say a little brighter. I am delighted it cured the problem as I would have sold the guitar if it did not. Regarding intonation OK so you set each e string and that does it but of course some of the string are not correct as its a straight bar but to be honest it is still fine and if it was good enough for Chet its good enough for me. The ABM would work much better with a B5 or B7, this Gretsch Rocking bar is the one for a B6 or B3. Totally happy with it in every way.

Sound is lovely - The fit on a G5125 is tough
Haarlem 08.07.2022
This went on a G5125 (from 2005) replacing an original and rusty Gretsch Adjustomatic.
After installation the bridge appeared to sit too high so I had to remove the adjusting wheels and bring it as low as possible. The action is still quite high though and it needs to lose another 1-1.5 mm. So, I will have to sand the base. Guitar and neck setup are fine btw.
The sound is great, balanced and it has a clean sparkle which was not there before (TV Jones T-armond pickups). I can also hear more harmonics playing acoustically. A bit more sustain is added as well.
Intonation is fine for a set of 10s with plain G.
Only the G string is a bit off (approx +8%) at the 12th fret. Nothing you can really hear though. I assume a wound G would be fine.
Tuning stability is as it was. Didn't see any change for the better when using the Bigsby. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that the bridge sits directly on the wood and not on the wheels so it doesn't rock as it was designed to.
Quality is high. I have the set on Ebony which is quite dark matching the colour of the guitar (black). The chrome is not exactly like the rest of the guitar it looks more like nickel if you ask me. Much more to my liking compared to the chrome parts the guitar came with.

Great upgrade!
Joa B 22.03.2021
It is a lot of work to get the saddle to match the body of your guitar, Man ebony is tough...
BUT worth every penny!
The bridge itself is a bit brighter than the original, this is something to be noted and not necessarily a bad thing.
A tip for fitting it properly, put some painters tape on the body and then glue a 60 or 80 grit sandpaper on top of that, higher goes very, very slow....
