Hotone Ampero Pink Ltd

Como bien indico mi título, es querer parecer un pedal multiefectos de alta gama a un precio comedido, pero cuando lo pruebas te das cuenta que realmente le falta mucho mucho por mejorar. El problema, que el precio es el que es y no hay magia detrás de las cosas. Mi unidad en concreto me vino con mucho ruido balnco en todos los presets, esto no es un problema de estática puesto que utilizo un estabilizador de tensión para ”limpiar” el ruido que pueda existir, y en otros multiefectos o previos no tengo ruido balnco. Este problema imagino que será algo puntual de mi unidad, aunque buscando por internet no soy el único y al parecer este modelo tiene problemas de aislamiento y suele meter ruido...

Por otro lado, el sonido final que tiene el Ampero no está acorde con la calidad de su pantalla y construcción, en otras palabra, el sonido no es tan bueno como esperaba, aunque viendo comparaciones por Youtube ya me imaginaba que estaba comprando. Por esto mi recomendación es la siguiente, si buscas un pedal multi efecto que te sirva para ensayar y tocar alguna que otra vez, el mooer g200 está más barato y en cuanto a calidad de sonido es igual o incluso mejor en algunos aspectos. Si por el contrario necesitas algo sólido y que te aporte una gran calidad y fiabilidad general para no solo tocar sino grabar pistas y demás, es aconsejable ir a por equipos más caros como el ge300 lite, que el cambio es muy notorio.

En resumen demasiadas características “gancho” como la pantalla táctil que cuando las lees te atraen y te hacen pensar que estás comprando un producto increíble y que te aportará mucho valor, y en realidad cuando lo pruebas te das cuentas que lo importante que es el sonido no es tan bueno como otras características que tiene. Por esto yo recomiendo evitar las unidades de Amparo, e ir a por pedales que realmente ponen valor en el sonido.

Bought this after seeing loads of different guitar modelling units from the cheapest to the most expensive and this unit seemed to take all the accolades irrespective of its price. Every now and then a product comes out that is so good it defies its price point and the ampero is just such a product.
Now the sound, we’ll let me just say that I have two headrush fr108’s to plug this in to (which is I think is important to mention as your sound out is only as good as the speakers will allow it to be, and these are good speakers and they are tailored to the guitar frequencies essential for units like this and I don’t think a guitar amp would produce the result I’m getting in stereo)
So with that said how good does it sound?
STUPENDOUS!!!!!! yes STUNNNING so full and very realistic it is a pure joy and that touch screen is the dogs private bits. From all the different effects amps and irs you get this will keep you going for years!!!!!! It’s better than the reviews no exaggeration this thing is that good. I used to have a kemper but I found it too fiddly diddly and anyway I always felt Kemper should have produced a smaller cheaper unit with out all the captured stuff in it as who’s got access to the worlds different amps (or who even needs this).
Well dare I say it Hotone have produced such a unit in the ampero ( I went with the larger unit as it has an off/on switch and settings on the back for electric and acoustic guitars and I didn’t want the smaller cut down version. I went for the pink version as it is twenty quid cheaper than the black version and it looks really cooooollll!!!!!!!
Who is this aimed at? Apparently it’s very good in live situations but you don’t have the ability to alter effects ect quickly on the fly but in the new firmware update you can group your channels together which is useful.
What do I use it for? Well at home really because I can get stadium sounds from Marshall plexi to Mesa to Friedman at low volumes without upsetting my neighbours or family members. That where this unit ticks all the boxes more than stage use( I can’t say it is good for that or it isn’t, I haven’t the experience of using it in such circumstances)
Put it this way buy this unit and you will always have a use for it and will fall in love with it and in pink for 256.00 gdp it’s nothing just shut up play your guitar and buy it!!!! You will thank me.
Oh! And my pink version came with nice footswitch diamond toppers for free!!!! They look really cool lit up!!!!!! Rock on Pink hotone!!!

Hey there! I wanted to share my honest thoughts on the Hotone Ampero Pink Edition multi-effects pedal that I recently got my hands on. Don't get me wrong - I do think it's a great pedal, but there are a couple of things that I wish were a bit different.

First off, let me start with the good stuff. The sound quality of the Ampero Pink Edition is fantastic. There are so many different amp models and effects to choose from, and they all sound great. The build quality is top-notch too, and I love the pink finish - it seems impossible for soundguys and other musicians to not comment on it XD.

However, I do have to mention that there are some limitations to the pedal. Specifically, there are only three effects blocks, which can be a bit limiting if you're used to having more flexibility in your signal chain. I've found myself having to make some compromises when it comes to which effects I want to use, which can be frustrating, even as going as far as getting an external compressor pedal (which you should have anyway)

Additionally, I've noticed that the Pink Edition seems to be a bit behind when it comes to firmware updates compared to the regular black one. There aren't any bugs or issues that I've noticed but newer versions of the firmware have more pedals. It's not a huge deal, but it is something to keep in mind.

All in all, I do still think the Pink Edition, it's a great multi-effects pedal. The sound quality is fantastic, and the design is really cool. However, the limitations with the effects blocks and the firmware updates are something to keep in mind. If those things don't bother you too much, then I would definitely recommend giving it a try! I gig and rehearse with it all the time and have no plans on replacing it!

Bought this after a MG-300 that DOA from another retailer. The Ampero is roughtly 2x in cost but I would say it's more that 2x the machine. The XLR output is a godsend. It sounds pretty darn good. It allows me to play at a very socially acceptable levels of decibels, without disturbing the neighbours. The sound quality of this device is fine for my purposes. It has that "digital hiss" in the background through headphones, but that's just the way many electronic devices are. I am all the more happy that I managed to snag the one in PINK. It's not my colour at all but I do like how it is DIFFERENT. The touch screen is another aspect in favour of this device.
