Great Mallets, Nice and Durable

Got these as a starter set of mallets for vibraphone.
Already being a percussionist these felt great, with a nice rebound and a good absorption of impact. Not too heavy on the wrists, but have a good weight and feel.
My only criticism is that the heads are rather small. This does not affect playing, and would be preferable for 4 mallet playing on most orchestral percussion instruments. Depending on the image you want to go for when playing these may not fit the 'milt Jackson' large head style of playing

Versatile, sounds great on every band vibraphone!

I think the most important thing with these mallets is that they make a very clear sound on an vibraphone! The heads are quite light so they are extremely comfortable for fourmallet playing too!
These are my go-to mallets for vibraphone.

perfekte mallets - der Name ist Programm

Nach fast 40 jähriger Suche nach perfekten vibes mallets bin ich nun wohl am Ziel angekommen. Was habe ich nicht alles erlebt mit Balter, Good Vibes, Studio 40, Yamaha usw.: im Satz bestellte mallets mit hörbar unterschiedlichen Härtegraden, völlig verbogene Rattanstiele, nach 3 Monaten Hobby-mäßigen Gebrauch völlig aufgebrauchter Garn etc. Und nun mein erster Versuch mit Innovative Percussion: liegen wunderbar in der Hand bei perfekter Ausbalancierung des Gewichts, klingen nicht zu perkussiv und obertonreich in den tiefen Lagen, bieten aber trotzdem einen unglaublich satten Punch ohne zu sehr zu klingeln, wenn es einmal laut zu gehen sollte. Die Frage nach der Lebensdauer kann ich aktuell noch nicht beantworten.
Fazit: der Name ist Programm - Innovative Percussion.
