Excelente relación calidad precio

Lo he usado para convertir un Tom de batería acústica en pad electrónico mediante trigger y el resultado es muy bueno. Buen rebote, silencioso y resiste bien la afinación. Por el precio que tiene merece la pena.

Decent for the price

I got Millenium Quiheads for my first shell set (1x 10", 2x 12", 1x 14", 1x 20") and later on two more sizes (1x 13", 1x16") for an additional floor tom and a new snare, to replace the regular heads with them for my home kit. Overall, they are a good purchase for their cost. Below is a detailed analysis:

Pros:
1) Cost-effective: a good inexpensive alternative to the costlier mesh heads from bigger brands
2) Serve the purpose: extremely quiet heads. I play in my shared apartment, and never once did I get a complaint from my flat mates of being too loud.
3) Good fit: the fit matches the different desired drum sizes. The heads also have some headroom to allow for tuning high or low as per the rebound requirements.

Cons:
1) Not very durable: these onesbreak/tear more easily than others. I have stopped using the bass drum mesh head since that one broke the most easily. Would not recommend if you are these ones if you are a heavy hitter.
2) Different rebound: the rebound is obviously not the same as what you would expect of a regular head, but that is the case with mesh heads generally.
3) Reduced sensitivity to triggers: I play with triggers in my home kit and get the audio output in my ears, and I feel that the triggers are a little less responsive with these mesh heads in comparison to others, thus forcing me to hit heavier, resulting in con#2 mentioned above.

Overall, it serves the purpose of making the kit silent, and is more pocket-friendly, provided you are not breaking them frequently.

Great value
Milk Post 21.01.2020
I bought the mesh heads as cheap bottom heads on my acoustic kit conversion.

They are very good value and I would say cheaper to buy these than anything else on the market.

Overall the kit is very silent and the mesh heads on the bottom really help to bring the volume down!

Unfortunately as hey are beeing used as bottom heads I cannot comment on how they feel to play

recomended!

Quality nice thick feel

I purchased this as a replacement head for my pearl rhythm traveler drum set. Although the drum set already comes with silent practice mesh heads, the key difference is that they are single ply. Whereas this millennium mesh head (apparently thomann's inhouse brand) is double ply.

Double ply is firmer and stiffer and feels just a little bit more like playing on a real snare drum. The important aspect is that the single ply pearl mesh head wasn't good for use with the drum triggers (im using 2box triggit triggers). The single ply was too bouncy causing a lot of machine gunning (i.e. Excessive triggering even when the sticks weren't hitting the head). However this two ply head works well, although one still has to adjust the thresholds for triggering and cross-talk to avoid machine gunning.

This mesh head currently only comes in white, whereas my original pearl mesh heads were in black. i think the black looks sleek, with my wine red drum shells, but white is not bad either.

In terms of noise, these two ply mesh heads are slightly louder compared with striking the one ply mesh heads. However the sound is still reasonable and wont disturb the neighbours.
