Good potentiometer, solid and versatile
I bought some of these 1 Meg ohm potentiometers when I had to buy some different materials that I thought I would need to do some guitar wirings.
I know that these were (are?) used in vintage types of guitars like many Fender Jaguars, Jazzmasters and early 70s Telecasters, so we are talking about a bright, cutting tone.
Well, believe it or not, they do deliver! In fact, they let your pickups, whatever they are, to keep more of their natural resonance, so the sound will obviously be brighter. Just do a quick search online and you'll find more infos about 1 Meg ohm pots. For me they are just great, if you want to make your instrument a little brighter, they won't disappoint you

CTS pots are worth the hype.
Got this to upgrade my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster electronics, and love them. The stock ones were unreliable, and were on their last legs, so I got the proper Allparts CTS ones and haven't looked back. Their taper is great, and made the guitar feel closer to a proper Fender one. Sturdy, reliable, and they work. What more can you ask for, right?

Better than the stocks
Bought them to replace the stock ones in my new guitar. It was not an entry level guitar, actually quite far from it, but when I measured both volume pots they were 750 and 860 respectively, quite far from 1Meg.
These ones where both 1015 and the tone changed quite a bit after installing them.

AllParts reliability...
What I found with any Allparts pots I've bought is that they go wrong like no others.
Within the first 6 months, if the knob is at 10 and you accidentally turn it slightly more, it momentarily kills the sound, so if you're playing with the volume at 6 and you want to to to 10 for a solo, you first get muted for 1/4 of a second, which is something that of course gets worse during the first year and you have to be unreasonably careful.
During the second year, there come the crackles from dust, no matter the guitar or application you're using it, which is something that happens too soon compared with other pot brands.
These may say CTS but the quality control is AllParts...
I prefer Japanese Goldos, they are practically immortal.

well, it's a pot
Bought this to upgrade the pots on my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, as the stock pots on that guitar are cheap small ones. I must admit that I don't hear any noticeable difference in sound or handling

Works fine
Nice taper. Requires the right amount of friction to turn it, not too loose, not too tight. Installed in in a Jazzmaster.

The finishing touch.
I love the sound of DeArmond pickups for my music and sound, a one Meg volume potentiometer opens the sonic door for me.
I often thank thomann for the availability of such luxury guitar accessories, where would I be w'out these guys :-)

smooth action- good value-higher than usual shaft
Quality is very good, rotation is smooth but they are a bit tight (for me) as I want the pot in Strats to rotate freely for volume and tone swells. This version has a slightly longer shaft so the knobs stand a bit higher than usual. This fascilates use even more. Noise is low, sounds ok.
Highly recommended.

Good quality pots
I've bought a few of these pots as I'm a bit tired of Alpha mini pots. Yeah, they're smaller but definitely worse quality. These CTS are huge but sturdy, so if you have enough room for them in your controls routing they're a good investment.
They rotate smoothly and don't make scratchy noise. Easy to solder and priced right.

this pot never properly went to zero and after a few months of having it installed it died on me , turns out the shaft came undone from the inside and set the casing flying thru my bass....
