Very big wind screen, it takes up half of the m88. This is required if you want to use the m88 for bass drums, the mic will fail sooner or later without this.

This works as it should for the M88. Probably works for other mics as well.

I use this on my M88 when it goes in the bass drum. A must if you want to keep the mic alive. Worth it.

Works quite good

I purchased this for studio use as I really love the Beyer M88 microphone for vocals. In live situations it doesn't matter because "pop" noises from vocals aren't that noticeable but in studio every little blowing in the microphone can be heard easily.
When I recieved the item I was pretty suprised because it is really big - this thing swallows half of the microphone. The foam layer is also pretty thick, but not very dense so it allows to the sound to go thru. Unfortunately some big "pop"s will also make it to the microphone but nowhere near as much as with random foam I had on the mic before. (Maybe it's something they can't improve without losing the transparency in tone so I'll give it 5 stars anyway.)
Big plus is that the foam sits nicely around the microphones grille and is secured with a tiny strap and a button.
Overall it is a good product - maybe just a bit pricey but you can feel the quality.
