Bass Equaliser PedalWith the extremely wide frequency range from 50 Hz to 10 kHz the GEB-7 is suitable for all base types. With its 7 sliders for the frequencies 50 Hz, 120 Hz, 400 Hz, 500 Hz, 800 Hz, 4.5 kHz and 10 kHz, it makes the most accurate sound control possible.

Specially tailored to the needs of bass players, it has 3 controls for the very critical mid frequencies of 400 Hz, 500 Hz and 800 Hz, which determine the fundamental character of the bass sound. Each of the 7 frequencies can be raised or lowered over a range of ± 15 dB. This makes the special character of every gaming technique perfectly clear, from dynamic fingerpicking to aggressive slapping,

Boss GEB-7 - EQpedaali bassolle

Taattua Boss-laatua. Jämäkkä rakenne takaa varman ja toimivan käytön keikkatilanteessa. Metallikuori kestää rankkaakin keikkakäyttöä, eikä pedaali hätkähdä pubiolosuhteissa tapahtuvaa vahinkoa ollenkaan. Pieni putsaus ja pedaali on kuin uusi.

7-alueinen eq on monipuolinen, ja sillä saakin monipuolisesti muokattua basson soundia. Muutoskia voi tehdä moneen tyyliin funkista jazzin kautta heviin. Slapatessa voin korostaa bassoja ja sooloissa voin korostaa keskialuetta ja yläpäätä.

Olen käyttänyt pedaalia myös kontrabasson "etuasteena". Siten olen saanut haluamani "länkytyksen" esille pilaamatta kontran omaa soundia. Halvemmastakin kontrabasson mikistä saa paremman equttamalla.

Kaipailin basson soundiin hieman hienosäätöä, varsinkin trankkuvahvarilla soittaessani. Lopulta tuli tilattua Bossin Bass-EQ. Se on aivan mahtavan hieno laite ja hinta-laatusuhde on enemmän kuin kohdallaan!

Kotelointi on jämäkkä ja käyttö kaikin puolin helppoa. Botnea saa ääneen mukavasti todella hiljaisillakin äänenvoimakkuuksilla. Ääneen saa halutessaan lankkubassollakin todella akustisen vivahteen. Enpä olisi uskonut, kuinka valtavan hienosti tämän avulla pystyy "maustamaan" ääntä.

Suosittelen varauksetta kaikille basisteille, varsinkin kun hinta on kohdillaan.

Feels great, sounds.. ok

As with all Boss Pedals this has the strong metal body and sturdy foot switch that you know and love.

The faders are metal with plastic tips and feel so much better than some of the cheaper EQ pedals that have plastic faders and you feel they will last for years and years.

Sadly however it just didn't cut it for me in terms of sound, the boosts are great and if you want to add to your sound this might be just the ticket.

I however bought it to EQ my rig to the room as I play in all different styles of venues that can often have problems with standing waves and so on and the cut is just not aggressive enough. If you try to cut a certain frequency it will pull down the frequencies around it.

As a live pedal used to boosting it would be ideal, if you want something for more technical EQ work then a good quality pre-amp might be the better choice.

However the fact it put up with my heavy size 12's stamping on it is no mean feat and Boss again show why so many people try to emulate their design. It works and lasts.

Simple pedal, does what you expect of it. As you'd expect of a Boss pedal, no frills but it all works.
Pros are it's simple to use, compact and durable.
Con would be that it's not true bypass, if you need that. I dont
