New favorite.

Just used for recording a full lenght metal album in a professional studio. I used this stings on Spector Euro6 LX. The sound is very nice round sound. No extreme highs, lows or mids, it sounded just perfect. After two very busy days it still sounds pretty great, however the low B started to wear (what is not a surprise in a metal band...). Using a 6 string is not a good news to bassmans if it's about sortiment. Compared to Warwick Black Label, Daddario EXL, EPS, or Ernie Ball this NYXL series is highly the best choice. For luck, I bought 2 sets so I don't have to worry if I have to change strings. The only bad is that it has no tapered ball end and my bridge is too small.

Excellent Tone and Feel

I put these strings on a Harley Benton 6 string bass. The strings have excellent "feel" and a very balanced tone. Based on previous experience, I would expect that they will last a reasonable time.
