Not a replacement for E-Bow
When guitar is muted, the feedback sound rather dives than dies. Amp feedback may do it the same way, so in this sense it emulates natural amp feedback rather than e.g. E-bow. It's a bummer as my main goal was to replace my E-Bow with FreqOut.
The feedback sound is very nice, especially on the natural harmonics modes, but attack and decay are slightly too slow to use FreqOut instead of an E-Bow even with the Onset time dialed to minimum, unless for only slow legato passages. This has forced me to use FreqOut mostly in momentary mode, just spicing up selected spots, rather than in toggled mode for a solo etc. The toggled mode does have uses for noise, though, and it spices up complex chords nicely.
If the Dry switch is off, the dry through signal is muted in the momentary mode also when the effect is not engaged. This is really annoying, and I find no use at all for the Dry off and Momentary on combination.
FreqOut is built like a tank, it's not going to be the first pedal to die on the road.

Palautetta kerrassaan...

Great sounds
I fell in love with this immediately. Great and more versatile than I initially thought.
