Might be amazing for you? Sadly not really for me.

Quick consensus: Might be great for a full on digital system or generally for you? On a more analogue system really hard for me to make them fit sonically.

"Longer" thoughts:

At first when I was designing a more "drum orientated" part of my system I thought these would be perfect for snares and kicks and such but sadly I don't really seem to get that good sounds out of these, they sound either very "plastic" or thin and most often just bland and lifeless, atleast to me, even when modulating their CV inputs.

That said, I've heard/seen some interesting videos of these standalone, they might be just the thing for you? But indeed due to the nature of their core sound they haven't fit my "mostly analog voiced" system, maybe in a full on digital system they might be great?

not just for drums!

This little module is a beast!
Is really cool for punchy drums but can also produce a ton of other sounds, from leads to drones.
I have two of them and I am planning to buy another one, for. this price is really a no-brainer!

An excellent use of 3hp - particularly if you have a RackBrute case and need an odd number of hp to fill the case properly! The CV control allows for some creative patching and there are some really solid, usable sounds as well as some craziness if that's what you're after. I particularly like the way it tracks 1V/Oct for an extra oscillator in a pinch.

If you need to give another level of sound to your tracks, trigger dynamic patterns and freshness to your tracks, this is the module for you.

Easy to use, it has helped me a lot to improve my beats and the sound quality is really good.
