Beautiful Vintage Saddles by Fender

I bought these for use on a Dave Gilmour inspired 70's era Stratocaster 'soft relic' project. They look perfect on the guitar and really add a sense of true vintage authenticity to the build. The guitar seems to sound better unplugged with these saddles compared to the cast saddles they replaced.
Whether or not the improvement will be audible when plugged in remains to be seen, but if a guitar sounds great unplugged it's usually a good sign...
There's definitely a certain vintage 'mojo' with the pressed steel saddles. It's no surprise that these are the current saddles of choice on many a top of the range fender instrument.

Da meine 50er Classic schon langsam in die Jahre kommt, haben die Reiter ein wenig Flugrost angesetzt...

Manche sagen: "Das ist eben so. Das ist eben Original."
Ich sage: Geht garnet.

Hier hat man die Möglichkeit für unter 40 Euronen die Reiter auszutauschen.
Klar ist das ein wenig Arbeit... Aber mal unter uns Fenderisten...
Das wollen wir doch von Zeit zu Zeit. Ein wenig die Hand anlegen.

Verarbeitung: Sehr zufrieden. Sehr schön, ohne Macken, Graten oder Sonstiges.
Jeder Reiter hat das typische doppelte Fender eingestanzt.
Die Madenschrauben laufen sehr gut. Inbus ist dabei. Ebenso die Federn und Schrauben.
Die Federn übrigens sind ein wenig strammer, als die (bei meiner Daphne) ehemaligen verbauten. Die Schrauben hab ich ebenfalls mitgewechselt.

Wichtig: Die Reiter passen zu 100% beim Austausch. Die Tremolo-Platte muss NICHT gewechselt werden. Das ist eben Original Fender.

Die Nickel sind sehr ordentlich und chic. Sehen gut aus.
Der Unterschied zu den ehemaligen Originalen (chrom) fällt nicht ins Gewicht.
