Tilasin kyseisen adapteriholkki setin asentaakseni Gibson Les Pauliin perinteisen malliset muovipäiset kluson deluxe virittimet. Alunperin kitarassa oli siis Grover rotomatic virittimet ja niille reikä on 9,8 mm.
Holkit napsahtivat helposti paikalleen ja sain tilalle Kluson virittimet missä ei siis ole mutteria kielitapin ympärillä, virittimen kiinnitystä varten täytyi porata toinen ruuvinreikä mutta kun homma oli tehty lopputulos näytti siltä kuin kitarassa olisi aina ollut kyseisen malliset virittimet.

Pakkohankinta jos kuvatun mukainen kitaran muutostyö on tehtävänä. Ei mitään moitittavaa.

I made a mistake and drilled tunerholes on my LP headstock too big. With these sockets it was easy to put the Kluson tuners on again. Just be careful with measurements before you install.

Great product - Just not the right fit

Bought a set of Klusons for my Classic 60's Tele (MIM) to replace the Kluson-style Ping/Fender stock tuners, but the bushings were too narrow for the pre-existing holes. So I found these conversion bushings and thought my problem was solved.
Before anything, I have to say that they're quite good, and feel very solid. A+ for building quality.

However, the holes for the tuners in my guitar is neither 8mm nor 10mm. If you have the same model as I do, either be prepared to enlarge the holes on the headstock to fit these, or just use aluminium tape on the narrow bushings to keep them in place.

My bad, they didn’t fit…

These are fine but didn’t fit my application. I’m writing this as a heads-up to others.
Firstly not all tuners, even Gotoh tuners have the same post/shaft diameter. Not even in the same series. Take for example the Kluson-style SD91 series. The units with magnum lock and height adjustable post/shafts - the HAP-M units - have 6mm post diameters. They fit too loosely in these bushings and as a result of the string tension the tuners will get sloppy and wear out prematurely over time.
On the other hand the standard SD91 tuners (no locking, height adjustment) have post diameters of ca 6,25mm (from memory so I might be off by a tad), so that these bushings will be a perfect fit and you’ll enjoy a lifetime of happiness with them.

So in all cases the buyer should check their post diameters carefully before selecting and trying to source the correct bushings. Take care, it’s a jungle out there.
