great sound but ...

It could be a great pick ... it sounds great ! the grip is not exceptional obviously with this design, but it's okay. The problem is that milk stone is really not a good idea in my humble opinion : it is written in the product description that "the picks must not be washed or placed in water" ... but then most people who play long hours will definitely sweat a bit : i have this pick for less than a week and if it was flat when new, it's already completely curved because of that ... so i definitely won't buy again, there are many alternatives which sound as good (if not better) if you're after a "tortoise" pick ... i would advise for D'andrea Pro Plec which saddly are not available here

A very good sound. It starts making pores on the surface, due to sweat, which actually makes it better to grip. It broke after some months of playing, which is why I gave it such low durability score.

Tone-Nerds wie ich versuchen auch bei den kleinste Teilen das Beste raus zu holen.

Nach vielen verschiedenen, auch hochpreisigen Plektren, habe ich hier meine Lieblinge gefunden. Sie liegen wunderbar in der Hand, sind recht langlebig und der Ton ist einfach wundervoll! Egal ob mit E- oder Akustikgitarre, der Klangunterschied ist gravierend.

Sogar im Blindtest konnten sowohl ich als auch meine Freundin das Pick von einem Standard Celluloid unterscheiden.

Im Vergleich zu anderen teureren Varianten hat mich das Hense Happy Turtle am meisten überzeugt. Im Vergleich zu V-Pick und Gravity ist der Anschlag schöner und der Ton etwas weicher, ohne aber Klarheit vermissen zu lassen.

Ob sich das Plektrum lohnt, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Bei mir tut es das, auch wenn ich es nicht auf der Bühne spiel (da verlier ich einfach zu viele pro Abend). Aber daheim wenn man wirklich Nuancen hört, ist es eine Freude das Pick zu spielen.
