Best Classical Guitar Strings I have used

I've tried quite a few brands of Classical guitar strings - some even rated as the best and the highest selling here. But none of those stood against these Hofner HPS strings. These are simply stunning strings..... sooo sweet when played sweetly yet so full of fire when asked to so be! Full bodied, rounded, deep in bass, both sweet and cutting on the trebles, great to touch, extremely responsive to every nuance, totally articulate. Can't live without these strings.

A revelation

I purchased these strings because I was so impressed with a set of Hofner 'Sienna' classical strings that I had fitted to a vintage Masaru Matano M60 guitar. As these HPS strings are double the price of the Sienna strings I wanted to know how much better they were. I suppose for a fair comparison I should have tried the HPS on the same instrument but as my Hanika P56 was due for a re-string I used that.

I am absolutely impressed and delighted with the sound. Rich bass tones, clear trebles (even the G3), good balance and intonation. If it were not for that free set of 'Sienna' strings I would never have considered Hofner classical strings (Savarez being my usual choice) but I will be buying them again to try on different instruments.

I would be happy to not have the spare D4 string if that meant the price could be lowered to around €10.

amazing strings

this strings are not just cheaper but i like them a lot more.
the tension it's exactly what i wanted.
i used to buy savarez strings and when it tried this ones for the first time i found what i was looking for.

i'm gonna definitely buy this strings again.

Great classic guitar strings

This string are very good! Looks and feels so great! Least long and have natural tone! I use them on my Harley Benton HBO-850 guitar and I'm so satisfied with them! I will buy them again on next re-string...
