I have recently put a set of Jargar Superior strings on my cello. I previously used the Jargar Medium (blue) for the A and D, and Jargar Forte (red) for the G and D. I am finding the Superior have a clearer tone. I often have a problem with a metallic sound on a new C string, but after a short time the Superior played in and is much better.
