Must have for D-type connectors.

Didn't know first that these existed and mounted my D-type XLR, jacks, USB, ethernet... -connectors with nuts and it was a hassle. These snap on the connector and stay put while you drive the bolts in. These make installation a breeze and I recommend some threadlocker (eg. Blue Loctite) for more permanent installations. Tip: get some M3 hex-bolts or torx for easier installation using cordless driver. Philips/pozidrive is ok, but heads will strip easily especially on these small bolts. Also hex or torx gives a nice finished look.

If you don?t want to buy or use M3 nuts with your D-type connectors, this is the solution. Looks good too (if you see back of your rack.).

I bought about 20 of these when I decided to make my own patchbays both for live rig and for my studio setup.

Does precisely what it needs to do; use M3 rack screws to fit a 19"-rack backplate with the powercon or XLR-plugs of your choice, fit with optional multicolor Neutrik labeling sheets, and color-coordinate those with optional coding rings for your Neutrik plugs. Pristine rigs for the win!

These are a bit pricy for what it is – and for my personal taste. Color labels, coding rings, adapters set me quite a bit of money. But I don't think there is an equally effective alternative out there, so this is THE way to go.
