Excellent sticks, except the tips won't last.

These are perfect sticks for my hand and playing, and the stick itself is durable, but it seems that the nylon tips on these newer Promarks are of poor quality. Some sticks sound dead because of the loose tip, some tips fly off, and some just crack into pieces. I have had no such problem with the older Pro Marks with the old logo, so something has changed in quality, unfortunately.

The Dave Lombardo signature stick is perfect for those with larger hands who want a 2B stick with a little extra length.

It may seem counter-intuitive to balancing the stick properly, the wide taper at the front of the stick makes the stick slightly front heavy. Despite this, it doesn't feel like you're fighting the stick for rebound, so this extra weight towards the front makes it perfect for two things: speed and power!

I wouldn't recommend this stick for anything other than Hard rock or Metal, because in any other situation you are quite easily going to overpower anything else.

It may not be a versatile stick, but if you're a hard hitter who want's a bit of extra length to their 2B, then this is the stick for you.
