A very useful gig bag and value for money

A very useful gig bag, well made and value for money, if a tight fit.
I bought this gig bag for my Thomann 4-valve sousaphone. I've been using it for several months. I couldn't do without it, because transporting the sousaphone in it's original hard case is very difficult!
It's well made. The zips seem robust. Internal pads protect the bell part from the main body. The 2 hand straps allow fairly easy handling, and the back straps allow it to be carried on your back.
It's a tight fit for the instrument, and I have to push all the tuning slides in, and wiggle it a bit to do up the zips, but once it's in and zipped, it is very secure.

Nice while it lasted but broke way too soon

I had this case for only 2 years (and one of those was Covid times) before it broke. The metal clasps are over the case are actually quite flimsy, and when they've snapped it becomes obvious they weren't sturdy metal as they appeared but instead where some sort of alloy or plastic.

It's a shame because other aspects of the case were good: pockets, lining, fit of instrument etc., but none of that is good for you if you can't carry it!!
